DeviantPC has posted a review on the Tyan Tachyon G9700 Pro.

Tyan have named these graphics cards Tachyon - as their website explains a Tachyon is "defined as a theoretical sub-atomic particle that always travels faster than the speed of light". Well I wouldn't go that far in terms of its ability but Tyan's naming conventions are pretty decent. Perhaps NVIDIA should take a leaf out of their book - Tyan FX doesn't really work does it?

OcPrices.com has put up a review on Star Trek: Starfleet Command III.

Although being a fan of Star Trek it must be noted that I don’t particularly trust the franchise when it comes to games. More often than not you look forward to a game months in advance only for it to be extremely low quality and an obvious money making gimmick. It just seemed that any game with "Star Trek" the title would turn out to be awful, or have some huge flaws that ruined the experience.

Additionally I am not a fan of the Starfleet Command games, thinking them to be slow, boring and boasting poor visuals. So why on earth did I go out and buy the third instalment without even hesitating? Seems a bit odd doesn’t it. Well it is.
