Glob3trotters: Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black

Small form factor builds are very popular and finally now we have another product from Noctua in the chromax.black treatment that will fit most HTPC cases. The only option was the famous L9a/i if you really wanted it in black. The U9S has replaced the U9B SE2 due to its improved asymmetrical design that allows outstanding RAM, case and PCIe compatibility especially with ITX boards and became a standard for premium single tower 92 mm coolers. Today we are happy to test it in the famous all black paint job.

APH Networks: Crucial X8 2TB Review

What has changed since last year? If you are reading this review years after it has been published, history will tell you a lot has changed between November 2019 and November 2020. November 2019 was still pre-COVID, and I will have to say I probably got my year's worth of traveling in the months immediately leading up to the pandemic. Between September and February, I went to Honolulu, San Francisco, Vancouver, San Antonio, and Houston, which I have to say was a bit of luck since I do not usually fly that often. While I was in San Francisco, I attended Micron Insight, where I met Luke Ottrey who headed the Crucial X8 external solid state drive project. The Crucial X8 was available in 500GB and 1TB variants when it was launched; the latter I reviewed here at APH Networks almost exactly a year ago. A lot of things have changed now that a year has passed. Many of us are stuck in our houses with limited social and travel opportunities. Crucial's product line has also changed with the addition of the Crucial X6, but that is not it. The Crucial X8 has also changed with the addition of the 2TB model. Other than the capacity increase, is there a difference in performance with the new model? Read on to find out!

Neowin: Sabrent Rocket Q4 NVMe 4.0 review: Blazing fast performance for a reasonable price

If you're looking to take your computer's performance to the next level, you need to buy an NVMe drive. The Rocket Q4, a PCIe Gen4 SSD, touts speed, so let's take a look and see if it holds true.

eTeknix: Seagate Game Drive 5TB Halo Master Chief Limited Edition Review

There’s no shortage of amazing games to play these days, and with services like Xbox Games Pass, you can access hundreds of great titles at will. The only thing you’re likely to run short on is storage space. Sure, if you’ve got a super faster internet connection, uninstalling and redownloading games all the time might not be much of an issue. However, having all the games ready to go certainly has some appeal. There are four gamers in my household and only one Xbox Series X. We’ve already expanded the main SSD with the Seagate 1TB Official Xbox Series X/S drive, giving us 2TB of ultra-fast next-gen storage. However, we are leaving that purely for new content. We don’t need such a fast drive for OG Xbox, Xbox 360, or even Xbox One titles.
