Intel X25-V SSD 40Gb – QUAD Raid 0 performance
KitGuru posted a review on the performance of the Intel X25-V SSD 40Gb

This week has been an ‘SSD-fest’ on KitGuru and today we are going to take another look at the excellent Intel X25-V SSD 40GB units which we reviewed last month in both single and dual Raid 0 configurations.

Why revisit them? A handful of our readers have asked me how they ‘scale’ when more than two are placed into a Raid 0 system. Intel kindly sent us four X25-V SSD drives to try in a ‘Quad’ Raid 0 configuration and as we use an inexpensive (but effective) Intel DP55WG for all our SSD tests we thought this would be interesting to try.

SilverStone Sugo SG-04-FH Case Review
BURNED iN posted a review on the SilverStone Sugo SG-04-FH Case

SilverStone is a seasoned player in the computer case market. A heavy-hitter in the high-end range, their budget cases are few and far between. However, lately SilverStone seems to have added several specialty cases to their lineup, one of which we have here: The microATX Sugo SG-04-FH. This SFF case isn't at the top range of pricing, but it is by no means a budget enclosure. So the question here is: can SilverStone make this little SFF enclosure worth the high price of admission? We can tell you one thing about this: It sure looks like a million bucks.

Until now, if you wanted something in a six-core from Intel, the 980X was the only flavor of the day. However, we just got in a sample of a new 32nm Gulftown-based Core i7 six-core that is slotted for a somewhat more palatable price point of $885. Clocked at 3.2GHz, the new Core i7 970 will afford you a bit more financial breathing room, if you're hankering for that step up to what is arguably (or perhaps not arguably) the fastest X86 desktop chip architecture around currently.

We've got the rest of the speeds, feeds and performance details laid out for you here on the following pages. You want Core i7 six-core goodness? Intel is sweetening the pot just a little more for you.

Abbee Commercial-Free FM Radio Review
Hardware Secrets posted Abbee Commercial-Free FM Radio Review

If you want to listen to music on an iPod, you have to fill the device with music. You either rip the music from a CD that you purchased, or you purchase music online and move it to the device. Either way you have to pay for the music player, pay for the music, and make sure that the music is properly loaded on the device. That can add up to a big cost and a lot of effort. The Myine Electronics Company thinks they have a better way. Why not automatically record music from the radio, cut out the commercials, let you choose the songs you want to keep, and automatically transfer them to a digital music player? That's what the Abbee commercial-free music system is all about. It is such a unique idea that we were excited about taking a look at the Abbee.

The idea of running multiple monitors for gaming has been a fantasy for games since gaming first came out. To smack 2 stones against each other and see which, if either, breaks. KitGuru picks up a GTX470 in one hand and a pair of Radeon HD 5770s in the other, before smacking them together to see what gives. GITR. Get In The Ring!
