ASRock Z390 Extreme4 Motherboard Review

Today we test on OCinside.de the ASRock Z390 Extreme4 motherboard with the latest Intel Z390 chipset. As already shown in the Z390 Video, this motherboard offers a great basic equipment and supports the Intel 8th Gen as well as the newest Intel 9th Gen processors. Of course we again show some thermal images of the voltage regulators and overclocked the new Intel LGA1151 v2 motherboard with an Intel Core i7-8700K CPU.

Checking in on Intels Core i7-5775C for gaming in 2018

Way back in the sands of August 2015, we got a rare sample of the exotic Core i7-5775C in the TR labs. This Broadwell CPU was unique—and remains unique—among Intel desktop chips because of its 128-MB slice of on-package embedded DRAM, or eDRAM. That on-package memory served as a large L4 victim cache for the entire CPU.

Corsair Hydro Series H115i Platinum Review

Corsair once again looks to take the closed-loop cooler crown with the new Hydro Series H115i Platinum. Sporting RGB ML series fans, a larger 280 mm radiator, and an improved mounting system, it received a slew of updates which translate into a solid performer that not only gets the job done, but looks the part as well.

Dell Portable Thunderbolt 3 SSD Review

External storage has evolved over the years, but by far the biggest performance leap has come from Thunderbolt technology. With portable SSDs becoming increasingly popular, vendors have taken advantage of Thunderbolt 3 to boost sequential performance up to and over 3000 MB/s.

Hypers Cloud Mix Headset Review

If you're a "serious" gamer these days, or a Twitch or YouTube streamer, there's a good chance you already have a gaming headset. De rigueur: gaming headsets have a higher-quality boom mic for voice chat, since team-based multiplayer games like "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" and "Rainbow Six: Siege" effectively demand it. The better ones have high-fidelity sound, as they're made to replace desktop speakers.

Only the least self-conscious would usually dare to wear them outside, though. That's where the Cloud Mix comes in — when you're done at your computer or console, you can unplug the boom and headphone cable, turn on Bluetooth, and head out the door with your iPhone or iPad. A built-in (albeit inferior) mic takes over for voice duties like phone calls, and there's 20 hours of battery life.

HyperX Pulsefire FPS Pro & Fury S Speed Edition Review

The Pulsefire FPS PRO uses a Pixart 3389 optical sensor, this choice is surprising, as most others tend to use a Pixart 3360. This selection benefits the end user as the 3389 doesn't use hardware acceleration, which is supposed to provide reliable performance and precision. The Pulsefire FPS Pro also utilises a 1000Hz polling rate, Omron switches as well as the other usual suspects such as RGB illumination, software control, an ergonomic design and textured rubberised side grips.

Lenovo Yoga Book C390 Review

The Lenovo Yoga Book C930 is a one-of-a-kind dual-screen convertible. Its versatility make it a great travel device, but a generations-old processor and wonky touchpad are limiting.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Review

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a profound, glorious downer. It is the rare blockbuster video game that seeks to move players not through empowering gameplay and jubilant heroics, but by relentlessly forcing them to confront decay and despair. Rockstar Games' new open-world western opus is exhaustively detailed and exhaustingly beautiful, a mammoth construction of which every nook and cranny has been polished to an unnerving shimmer.

Sennheiser GSP 550 Review

The GSP line from Sennheiser welcomes a new addition in the form of the GSP 550. This new headset borrows the design from the GSP 500, adds in a fresh coat of paint as well as 7.1 Dolby surround sound. Not only do we get these new features, the GSP 550 also retains all the highlights from the 500, these include the semi-open back design, adjustable headband, broadcast quality microphone and the impressive frequency response of 10-30,000Hz.

Swiftech H360 X3 AIO Review

Swiftech's latest all-in-one liquid CPU cooler comes with all the bells and whistles you could imagine. They push RGB illumination to the extreme by pairing their IRIS ALED system with Mayhems Pastel Nanofluid Coolant, which comes with various dyes. Add in the all-copper design, as well as excellent performance, and you have a cooler that makes standard AIOs look silly.
