I have Windows2000 RC2 2128, but it can't find any (COM) ports, ok it will find them but i can't use them. . . In Win98 they work just fine!!! V3 Overclock = NO! in win2K

Hello, I used to run my V3-3000 at 183mhz in Windows98SE with V3 Overclocker by Gary Peterson without problem. But when running it at Windows2000 2128, I can only reach 175mhz, is that the driver problem or something else?.

A few days ago, I saw here that Money 2000 was supposed to work great with W2K. But since it did not work for me I submitted a note stating so. Now I see it again listed as working correctly, so obviously someone has had some success or did not try it out enough.

Hello all. I have W2K RC2 and i have the encore dxr2. Tried nt4 drivers but no luck. Can`t get the Encore mpeg card to work neither the software dvd player. If someone could help(can`t be the only one with this problem?).

My 3Com Winmodem seems to work fine until it's connected to the Internet. I can't reach any websites and so on. I tried to ping some sites, but the only thing I could reach was my DNS. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?.

Hi, I am trying to share my files on my comp(win2k) with another computer(win98) on a home network. . . I can acces their files but they cannot access mine. . . when we try to access mine we get as prompt for IPC password.

Unreal Tournament Demo, RC1, TNT D3D, Work?

Hi Does the Unreal Tournament Demo work in Win2k RC1 in D3D mode on TNT based cards? The reason I ask is that it does not under RC2 using the beta 401 drivers. In any case, those drivers are dodgy and produce about half the framerate than Windows 98 on my dual celeron 525Mhz/Xentor32 system.

When I install the dma66 driver for my IBM dma66 HD, my system will only boot up halfway, and then it just stalls. . I have downloaded the latest beta bios for my bp6 and installed the driver that came with the new bios.

Could anyone plz tell me where to find drivers to my onboard soundcard?!! It sits on a Intel i440 AGPset Mainboard, and in th manual it says that it should be compatible with win. 95. the computer is about 2 years old though.

Just installed W2K build 2128 so far so good, except Motocross Madness. When I load the joystick through the control panel and the status goes to OK i cannot run the game. I click on the MTM icon the screen goes black than white and than back to the desktop.

Has anyone successfully overclocked a V3(2000 preferably, though it shouldn't matter) under build 2128??? (RC2) If so, how? I've tried a few overclocking utilities, and scavenged the registry for any possible settings, but to no avail.

Hi there, am I the only one, who can't install voodoo2 under w2000 RC2? When I try, I get the message please refer to the file fxgpio. sys I haven't got that file, and the files in this place does'nt work! If anybody can solve this problem, please help.
