Thanks to RhinoTrip & Deadcat who both found solutions: This one works; I just proved it. On the pc running XP, log in as you normally would, go to users, manage network passwords. Here is where the problem lies.

How reliable is the software RAID available to NT & Win2K users? I'd like to stripe a few of my SCSI drives & put the swapfile & my programs on them. This is not a server, but a home pc that will get rebooted with some regularity (this is what concerns me).

For some reason, now when I adjust the sound volume using the slider from the Volume icon in the Windows 2000 system tray, instead of getting a nice 'ding. wav' to indicate the current sound volume, now I get a loud BEEP from the PC speaker within the case! When I hit alt+ctrl+del, the Task Manager opens, instead of the Security Screen seen in Win2K? Why is this happening? Do I need to enable any special settings? Also, where did the old User Accounts configuration go to? I read that typing rundll32 netplwiz.

is my PDC resetting all my network clocks!?!??! DAMNIT!

I think my PDC (Primary Domain Controller) computer is resetting all my clocks. It is an hour off. And I will go change it back (this is on workstations) and it flips back a min later or so. . . WTF!? So I got to my PDC server and the time is an hour off.

These are some of the problems I have been having with drivers and Windows XP (build 2600): Game Theater XP; We all know what problems XP has with these. Although the drivers need up and Multi-CPU systems seem to have a problem with this and SBLive! cards.

Hi Guys. Odd one this. When I run some old DOS apps such as Duke 3D or Stargunner the app refuses to accept any keyboard inputs. Eg, when running the Duke 3D installer it says press enter to install esc to exit.
