Stoppping the "Send Error Report" dialong

Hello, Everytime a program crashes (and, yes this still happens quite often under WinXP) I get a dialong box requesting that an error log be sent to Microsoft about the crash. Is there some way to prevent this option from ever appaearing? thanks.

Winxp + Nero = No Cd-rom

For those who installed Nero and now have no CD-ROM drives: After installing WINXP and Nero 5. 5. 5. 1 all my CD-ROM drives were not working. They all showed in Device manager with the yellow !. It said the drivers were there, but the hardware could not be started.

Every time I try to install IE 6. 0 on Win2k Pro I've got that error message: Copy error: Setup cannot copy a file <filename>. . . Make sure thelocation specified below iscorrect and so on. The location is correct! The access rights are correct too (for me - admin and for SYSTEM).

Bad performance SCSI Burning

I'm having really bad performance when burning CD's under windows XP. I'm only able to burn at 8x speed from hardisk to CDR. And 4x speed from DVD to CDR. My system: Adaptec 29160 Scsi Card. Abit KT7A-Raid, with latest bios.

I had the BSOD message the other day: 'IRQ_DRIVER_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL' Id seen some other ppl with this message and might have a solution. I had had the top off my pc because one of my fans wasnt working, and i tested the connector with the CPU fan.

I'm looking at several different CDRW software packages. I've used Roxio EZCD 5 (don't want to go with that as there are several reported problems under WinXP, and their prior history under Win2000 is poor) and Nero 5.

When I try to run 3D Studio Max it says this error message: Hardware lock drivers are not installed. Application will terminate Then I click ok and then it says this: Hardware lock is not attached, or you are using the wrong lock, or the lock device drivers are not running.

I'm having pretty constant hard crashes under XP, usually with the message PAGE_FAULT_IN_A_NONPAGED_AREA flashing right before it reboots. I'm running a P4 1. 7Ghz with a Geforce 3 on an Intel D850GB motherboard, 384MB RAM, and a SB Audigy Plat EX.

Today I received my ATI Radeon 7500. . . damn, I had to wait 5 weeks to get it in germany. . . Well - I deinstalled all nVidia stuff & software (I used a good old GeForce256 SDR before) and installed my Radeon 7500.

HP Photosmart 1100 printer Win2K

I'm using the HP Photosmart 1100 printer on Win 2K with parallel. The drivers for 2K @ the HP website do not work. They hang my system (no virus scan, no Roxio etc. ) during install. The HP Forum is full of posts with people trying to run the 1100 on Win 2K and there are a lot of frustrated users.
