Voodoo TV FM + XP

Recently upgraded my other PC to XP. It's a PII with 256MB + Elsa Galdiac GeForce. Works just fine, except for. . . . The Voodoo TV FM card simply isn't recognised , the Device Manager shows it but XP won't install drivers and even the original CD gets rejected.

Focus HELP!

In TweakUI, whenever I clear the Prevent applications from stealing focus box, it never sticks. Windows always is preventing applications from stealing focus, regardless of the state of that box. For example: I'll hit Win+R to bring up the run box, but it'll just sit there and flash at me.

How to get CD-Rom drive to support UDMA mode?

Hi, I have an Aopen CD-956E cd-rom drive attached to a CMD ATA-100 controller card as primary master but I couldn't set it to support UDMA mode, it shows as PIO mode only even though I have chosen DMA if available in the device manager and that the cd-rom does support UDMA33.

What exactly does -lgntforce DO?

Anyone know what running setup. exe with the -lgntforce modifier does? I'm not looking for It allows you to install System Shock 2. I realize that. I'm wondering what it allows setup to do, that it could not do without the modifier.

I'm currently using a gateway 9550 with the 32 meg geforce 2 go and the drivers that gateway provides suks. . are there any drivers that will work with that chipset prefably a referance type driver. i went on the nvidia site and those the deton drivers do not work with it.

My bro is running a amd 1. 3 w/ the audigy s/c and geforce 2 pro withe latest deton drivers. He is loking up while play c/s , somtimes itmay restart iteself, he has xp professional , with all updates plus latest via 4in1.

Well hear is my story, bought XP professional 3 weeks ago. I installed it (upgrade Win98 SE) and nothing and I mean nothing was compatible. I had no sound, improper video display, programs would not run etc, etc.

CDRom drives disappeared after UDMA66 enabled
