Max Payne Problems for XP

Alright, I hear that some people can get Max Payne to run just fine on Windows XP, but I hear ALOT of people say that the game errors out saying there's not enough suffient video memory on their video card.

I have auto-update set to manual - last night it popped up saying there were 2 updates at M$ (remote assistance and IE security). Selected to install, no prompts came up to say it was installed, also no errors so thought no more of it.

This posting is just to help others who might encounter this issue with Windows XP. SYMPTOM: You disconnect WinXP from the Internet or otherwise loose the connection. * When you reactivate the connection, it is initially reported as successful by the connectoid.

Ok, I'm in a world of hurt here and I'm looking for some help. Here's the issue. I'll be as specific as possible. This problem is definately repeatable, I get the same results on Windows XP and Windows 2000.

After installing CDRWin on my XP Corp Final Edition (and unintalling it right away) i now find that when i reboot my computer getting my network status in the task bar to come up, or to come up at all.

ATI Multimedia Center 7.2 for XP

I saw the post for ATI's Multimedia Center 7. 2 for xp. . . i was just wondering if it came with Gemstar's Guide+. I know when you buy an ati all in wonder card it will come with Guide+ & intergrate it into the TV part if the ATI MMC.

Roxio 5 Platinum Warning!

Have any of you tried uninstalling Roxio 5 Platinum? I bought a new 24x10x40 burner today; I figured I would remove Roxio 5. 0 , install the new hardware and then re-load ECC. Holly $hit it crashed XP for the 1st time.

I'd like to know if you're experiencing sound choppiness too. . I used the patch (to version 1. 01, I think), but doing so didn't solve the problem. PS: it's not a problem with my SB Live! Value drivers, since I even tried using my usually-disabled onboard sound and the result was the same.

Saving Dial-up password problem.

Hello. . . Windows 2000 Professional problem: A friend of mine told me about this problem and I have no idea what could it be: When he tries to estabilish Dial-UP connection (by clicing 'Dial') he gets an error message: Cannot delete saved password.

Hi, if there are any IIS gurus in da house: I am using Windows XP Pro, and am trying to run multiple websites. ie. let's say I have a main site, now, if I created a totally irrelevant site and wanted to run it of But I want the :81 site to have a different root directory and the original site.

Hi, I have a problem on a customer's computer, yeah, you guessed right XPpro is installed. . . Its part of a win2000 domain and its main use is a manging software that resides on the server and accessed with a client installed on it.
