Hi Guys I have the Default Administrator account. Last day I just created a new account name 'Chicco'. For some reason this account was also an Administrative account. I couldn't get it to be limited.

Here's the problem that happens to me. . . when i try to open up to 50 IE windows. . . (just about:blank) around the number 50. . . it just doesn't seem to open any more windows. . . sometimes i get a few more but they are missing the toolbar or something else like the menus.

Hi All, Exactly what's the deal with page files and awap files in Windows NT (nt/24/xp) ??? I know that in win9x/me (eww) a swap fie is essentially what windows uses to throw around program data that temporarily doesn't fit in system RAM, effectively trading hard drive space as a slow alternative to RAM.

I just bought 2 new computers loaded with Windows XP and connected them to my network. I am running Windows NT 4. 0. The other 8 computers on the network are running Win98. The XP computers keep loosing their connection to the network.

2 days ago I was left unable to sign on to AOL over my cable modem and get the message The connection to the host was lost. At first I thought it was an AOL issue but I have found that I am no longer able to ping anyone from my computer and get an Error Code 65 when I try to do so.

Hey ya'll, I cannot get rid of this STOP:0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER bsod. I have tried everything, even BIOS modifications. It did this during the install too, you think a new, fresh install might be a good route to go, maybe get rid of this thing? Thanks Shamrock.

I'm trying to introduce an HP Photosmart 1000 printer to W2K pro (recent upgrade from Win98) I followed the instructions that came with the installation CD, have the printer powered up and the printer cable inserted into the parallel port.

With Microsoft dropping support for most of their O/S's in the next 6 months, i thought i should grab a bunch of critical and security updates. What i'm wondering is whether there is a site that has these packaged together for each o/s or do i need to download each one manually from the microsoft site.
Problems with fonts displayed in some applications

I have this problem since I installed XP. Some programs arent sized right by XP and the fonts are too large. And all of the time I can't see the whole menu as it is suposed to be seen. Here is an example : If there is any solution I would gladly use it PEace to everyone.
