I have the game AFL 99 (EA Sports) and i have just bought a new computer with Windows XP and the game wont run (because of Windows XP). I have tried all the compatibality modes but it just wont work.

Can't complete a defrag without system freezing

For some odd reason i can't defrag my D: (WD 5400 60 gb ATA100) without my system freezing. Every other drive is fine but that drive. I did a quick format and it still ****s up. The drive has been scanned and there are no file or sector errors on the drive either.

TwinView Broken in 23.11

Hi Guys After quite a lot of research I have found that twinview is broken in 23. 11 and I back with 21. 83 drivers. When you apply clone mode. sometimes, it wont apply it and sometimes, if you apply it, it will change the resolution of your monitor and display on tv is in 8bits.

Hi, I want to move a huge amount of data (i. e in gigs) from one remote server to another remote server. And i don't have telnet access. Moreover i don't want to stay connected to internet all the time while the transfer is takin place.

SoundBlaster Live! XP Drivers -- question

I'm using the native XP drivers for my SoundBlaster Live! Value. Most things work fine. However, I'm trying to do videocapture with 48khz audio (my InstantDVD capture box uses the LineIn of the soundcard to capture audio).

I need to buy a hard disk but i dont know which one. Heard some stuff about IBM, that they are fast and die often, as for WD my friend has WD20gb hard and it died once he returned to the store they fixed it(as u can fix something here) and it died again.

Ok, I bought this computer with ME on it, about 3 weeks ago I put on XP Pro, about 2 days ago my Boston Acoustic Speakers (BA7500) Surround speakers are not giving sound. When they are on and I turn up the volume, a weird popping noise comes out of the surround speakers.

I guess when I updated Office 2000, and Outlook got the security patch, I can no longer view or open certain files, IE: my Father sent me an EXE file that was virus checked to be clean, but Outlook will not let me view it or open it as it is a Type 1 security issue.

ok since running xp i have been experiencing problems with my mouse ie mouse accel and mouse halts etc in the half life engine. well my friend got pissed off and started turning off services, and it stopped.

Hi to all, XP hangs regulary, and after reboot it starts checkdisc, but only after 10 seconds countdown (press any key to stop. . . ). Does any of you know how to let XP start checkdisc without delay, (or maybe after 1 second)? Shakti.

i am trying to play warlords 3 reign of heroes. and i am running windows 2000. the game will freeze anywhere from 1s till 2 minutes in. it freezes everytime. i think there might be a compatibility issue.

I am running Windows 2000, and have a SB Live! When I go to install it Win2k Picks it up as a Audio Media Controller. I can't get drivers installed. When I run LiveWare it says can't find the SB Live Card.

Here is the prob??? I have installed Operation Flashpiont on my CPU, When I try to run this game I get the operation flashpiont logo then nothing! I am just back to my desktop. I have been to there web site and have made the changes that go with there FAQ section but I still get the same result.
