Hi, I have a CUV4x-DLS mainboard running Dual PIII 933's. I am dual booting Windows 2000 and XP. My intellimouse works under 2000 but not under XP ( jerky across the screen ) Other people I know use this mouse with no problems under XP.

Alright. . . I need to make F/A-18 work in Win2000. . . On the compatable games list it is listed, so I know it can be done, but how do I make it work? Like, do I have to install something or change some settings or something? Please help!! Sandman.

Can't seem to get Application Compatibility Toolkit to work for me. I select a bunch of options, and Myst and Mechwarrior 3 still recognize that I'm not using win95/98. Any tips on ACT?.

I am using ISDN Pro Terminal Adapter. And every time I run ControlCenter 3. 1 it says: ControlCenter was unable to detect an appropriate 3Com product on your system. . . I can't find where could be problem.

I had a folder called Audio Programs and now after system consistency check the folder is called audiop~1. á and i can´t access it. I have over 200 folders and many files in there , any help appreciated.

Hi every1, im using a voodoo banshee with 3rd party drivers, but still have a voodoo1 in my second pc! Does any1 know if there are better voodoo1 drivers for win9x/me around than the last from 3dfx? I have been running IE6 without a glitch since it was released. For something different, it tried the latest version of Opera browser. For unimportant reasons (okay, it's slow & I hated it), I uninstalled Opera.

just a question here, when you go to microsoft updates and get the patches etc. is it really necessary to reboot? or can a simple log out/log in work? i was just wondering since i just updated the system and i really don't want to reboot as i'm trying to see how long i can go without having windows crash on me, so ...

We added the Windows XP Home Edition version 2002 to our Windows 98. It seems to have completely deactivated our CD burner. We can record from sites like Morpheus, but from Pre-recorded CD to Blanks is impossible.
Are samsung harddrives any good?

I'm still hesitating between two hardrives. A maxtor ATA133 40GB (see other post) and the cheap samsung 20 GB 5400RPM as a backup drive. I would like to know if samsung has a good reputation. Are there any known issues with samsung drives? Thanks.
