ICS yet again...

I am having a bizzare problem with ICS under WinXP. . . My primary machine has a 56K dial-up connection, is able to browse the internet just fine. My secondary PC shows the ICS connection, is able to browse to several sites (main msn, microsoft, and hotmail), but seems to time-out on any other site.

Installed Audigy Platinum, but gosh the front drive does not

I installed the drive bay with the cables hooked up properly, and then popped in the sound card hooking up the cables from ther drive bay to it. Of course, before installing the card and bay, I removed all traces of my previous sound card.

Problem installing games

After 15 years on a Mac, I'm the happy but woefully ignorant recipient of a Sony Vaio PCV-RX551 (1. 6/80) running Win XP. To my huge disappointment, this spiffy new computer won't install games, specifically Baldur's Gate II Shadows of Amn and No One Lives Forever.

I've picked up an Audigy Platinum, but have not yet installed it. I've got the drivers that have come with the card, the update drivers for XP from Creative and the 'leaked' 67 Mb Liveware 3 software set.

Well I had my computer off my network and at a friends house for 3 days this week. Everything worked fine I just reconfigured the network settings. I bring it back home today and plug everything back up.

Screen Flicker Problem w/XP Pro

I just upgraded to XP Pro and am now experiencing screen flickering. I was using XP Home and did not experience this problem. I did a clean install. XP Pro automatically loads the 3DFX Interactive Banshee video driver for my Quantum 3D Raven video card.

How To Disable the Pop up to connect to alternate connection

I have a lan in my house with one of the computers on winxp. This comp has 2 connects for it. . the first is the lan card (Default connection) & the second is a dialup adapter. When the Default connection goes out a popup box comes up asking me if i want to connect to the dialup adapter.
