Ok. . I got this game running only works Compatibilty Mode 98/ME. But who cares, as long as it works? Well, it doesn't work right for the most part for me and others I know. When running NFS, I cannot ALT-TAB to go back to the desktop.

Made a comp out of the following parts, AOpen MK33 kt133 motherboard, Duron 1000, geforce 2mx, 256 ram, quantum HD, pine modem. I have used the latest BIOS available for this motherboard, tried different sticks of memory, no good.

Workaround Solution for Agfa 1212p paralel scanner

Hi. Well, 2K and NT drivers are not working on XP for this scanner. Agfa told this scanner is discontinued and no new driver will be made. First, NEVER BUY ANY **** TO AGFA ! Second, How can I do, I don't want to throw away my scanner even if old and buy a new one, even if cheap now.

Can't find working driver for Windows XP: Simple Tech SmartM

Hi All, I can't seem to find a WORKING WIndows XP driver for this device. I have managed to find Windows 2000 drivers. However, uipon Installation, Device manager complains that the drivers are not XP-certified.

When playing Starlancer with 3d sound turned to eax with my sb live card, it crashes back to the desktop. I've installed the lastest sb live drivers (the xp update ones and tried it with the ones that come with windows xp) and it still happens.

wma support for new dvd players, what about DivX?

I don't know a lot about encoding but if the new APEX dvd players will have wma support this year, what will happen to DivX. Will they be out of luck or will people be able to convert DivX to WMA or what? Just curious if there are some experts out there who can comment on this.

I've already installed the latest Detonator drivers from Nvidia (23. 11) and still have the same problems. I have a VisionTek Geforce3 ti200 card and two systems - AMD 1700 and P4 1. 9 ghz. It works on neither system.

I tried XP, and am experiencing packet loss while playing online through my isdn router. I was using win2k and had not had any trouble. I had experienced this same phenomenon when win2k first came out until SR1 which fixed the problem.

i'm trying to get rid of the my documents icon from my desktop but it just wont disappear. i've set it up so the desktop doesn't show any icons, but they are instead on the taskbar like the quick launch bar.
