I would like to create a custom install CD for XP, basically just the original with a few extra utils that I use included on the CD for ease of access. However, I cannot find a boot image of the XP CD.

Hey, I'll get right to the point. I don't get straight black on my monitor. It's a slight green. I can not find the place to change the color settings anywhere! My DVD software shows my monitor set at R 0 G 40 B 0 (it only shows, doesn't change).

Hello there! Yesterday my Welcome Logon Screen (where you click a user you want) just changed to the one like in Windows 2000 (you need to type username in a textbox). . . How can I change it back to WindowsXP default Logon screen? I tried in Control Panel | User Accounts | Change the way users log on or off.

Adding 2nd Processor to a Dual Processor Motherboard

I have a Pentium Pro 200 computer running NT 4. 0 which has a dual processor motherboard with one processor on it. I bought a matching set of processors for it and installed them. When I reboot only one processor is recognized.

I have two nic and two internet connections each on 10Mbit. one of them has a 100/10 switch attached to it and it seams that all the internet trafik is routed though it as default. I wonder if there is a way to tell windows xp that the default connection should be the one connected to the 10Mbit ?.

Windows 2000 SBS not compatible with Hardware RAID??

we have tried to setup a windows 2000 small buisness server with an UDMA 100 RAID Promise Raid controller (fasttrak) in Raid 1 (mirror) it worked just fine after installation. . but after the exchange server was setup the whole win2000 destroyed itself and was not bootable anymore.
