Im using a USB ADSL modem (Alcatel SpeedTouch) The only drivers i can use are PPP over ATM (PPPoA), when i try to setup NAT and the wizard lists my network adapters, then USB modem isnt listed. However the modem does have a Network Adapters entry in Device manager.

Spent a good 12 hours making this too, mostly researching how to do certain things. On the left side, you see the icons, My Computer, My Documents, etc. . What I did, was extract the icons from the programs executable, or from shell32.

Hi All ATI All in wonder 128 pro, XP generic drivers worked ok but I wanted to use all the features of this card, so I downloaded the XP drivers from the ATI site, after installing the display driver and accepting a restart a message box popped up stating Closing Program Should not see this.

Multi-Boot XP with Win 98 and Linux

I can set up a dual-boot with Win98 easily. I have yet to get a successful multi-boot with Mandrake Linux 8. 1. I have tried setting it up on a separate drive (1st partition), using MBR of that drive, then tried 1st Boot sector, etc.

Not really a Win2k question, as much of an IE 5. 5 question, but does anyone know a way to change the location of the default save when downloading a file through IE ? It's such a pain in the butt to have to navigate to my download directory each time.
