I have nba live 2001 wi windows 2k server and everytime i start it i get to the ea sports intro and it resets me back at the desktop. and i have the demo and it works fine but the game doesnt. plz reply if you know how to fix it.

Whenever I restart my system the icons are never being the same before. Sometimes all the icons in the desktop looks like Adobe sometimes like winzip. I use Tweakui to repair the icons. I would like to know the real reason behind this problem.

dual monitors with win2k

I want to be able to use two monitors on my computer. I've been reading about the ATI Radeon VE dual head card and many people claim it doesn't work well with Win2000. Can I enable dual monitors if I use 1 AGP card and 1 PCI card? I mostly do video editing and 3D work (very little gaming).

Anyone else having TV-out problems

It appears that when I use the Refresh Rate Fix I can't use TV-out. If I just install just the 27. 42 drivers TVout works great but the refresh fix won't, but when I install the same drivers modified to use the fix the TVout is junk.

Ok, here is a rundown on my system lately. I had been running XP. In XP everything was seemengly messed up. Randomn freezes and problems with XP reading my drives on my Promise 66 card. The frezzes I thought were from maybe cooling, but i would have RC5 running and then play a movie on WMP at the same time.

Choopy Sound in XP [NES emulator]

Hi All, I am quite sad to find out my favorite NES emulator, RockNESX has severe sound problems under XP. This is due to the funky changes Micro$oft decided to make in XP regarding sound emulation and time-frame skipping etc.

I get BSOD stop error messages in WinXP Pro that state IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and show this: 0X0000000A (0X00000004, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0X804F1A9E) Someone help me make sense of this so i can fix my problems whatever they may be.

WHY?? Why did NVIDIA change the way refreshrates are managed in the new Detonator drivers? Refreshrate fix doesnt understand it, and I sure as hell can't understand it either. has anyone had any luck changeing the gaming refreshrate with these drivers?.

I have the original magic the gathering and when I try to install on winnt 4. 0 it says only can install on win95. I tried to used the setwin95. cmd file to trick the file on the CD but I get the error message that it cannot map and load the imagecfg part.

I just installed a new Dell Laptop for one of the company exec's. It has an onboard NIC and it worked fine. However, when his Port replicator came in, I installed it and it had its own NIC card. This was no problem for Win2K of course and the card was found a recognized.

can someone recommend a good motherboard manufacturer other than Giga-Byte for a penium 4 Motherboard. I am looking for one with 4 SDRAM Slots, 5-6 PCI Slots and 1 AGP slot, I dont want DDR RAM ect as I have 1 GB of SDRAM and dont really want to waste it Any Help Appreciated.

Need to uninstall linux w/out effecting XP.

Right now I have a dual boot system with XP and linux. I have found out that linux is not the thing for me and now I want to get rid of it. The only problem is that when I erase the partition it is on my boot for XP is gone and it does nothing when I turn on the computer.

Hey, I just got a new computer, and with it a gametheater xp. . . I installed win2k and then instaled striaght away the drivers for the card that came with the disk. These work fine, however i went to update the drivers from the hercules website (to thelatest ones) and i started getting.
