this a good game, the graphics are amazing for the decade they were in it came out, STUNNING.

Populous 3: The Beginning UK release
This doesn't work out-the-box, but if you apply the pop3euro.zip "patch", it does then work, although you do seem to have to run it from the CD autorun, rather than from any desktop/Start-menu shortcut or from the filesystem itself.
Not sure if this popeuro patch works with the v1.01 patch though...

Populous 3: The Beginning UK release
This game will not boot in windows XP whether patched to v1.01 (populous.net) or not. Curiously the downloadable demo works fine. I have managed also to get the expansion pack 'undisovered worlds' to run after a fashion but it's not the same. All suggestions gratefully received.

1) Workaround: system:W2k with SP1 and newest Application Patch. First:Make a FULL installation of Populous III. 1.Install v. 1.01 of Populous III (Patch from www.bullfrog.com) 2.a)for us versions:apply a NO-CD Crack for v.1.01 (only if you are a legal owner of Populous III!) works fine !!! 2.b)for uk and other versions: rename original program (.exe) files in populous folder and copy the original us program files (they are delivered with the 1.01 patch) into the Populous directory. Then apply a NO-CD Crack for v.1.01 (only if you are a legal owner of Populous III!) works fine !!!
2) Installs and works perfectly (US version) Japanese W2K Pro - Trident Cyberblade 3D i7, AMDK6-2(500), DirectX8a - SP2
