Any solution to the Permant 16 color icons ?

Anyone got any solution to the Microsoft 3D Pinball perm-16-color-icons-bug? Appreciate all help. Exploring bug: Start pinball , switch to fullscreen and back. Bonk, your icons are all 16 colors.
