ICS in W2k won't autodial when set to

Has anyone had problems with getting Win2k Professional to autodial on demand with ICS? I set up my connection and then set it to be shared. I noticed the Dial on demand option on the sharing screen and checked that, but when clients try to access the Internet, ICS does not autodial.

Has anyone had problems with getting Win2k Professional to autodial on demand with ICS? I set up my connection and then set it to be shared. I noticed the Dial on demand option on the sharing screen and checked that, but when clients try to access the Internet, ICS does not autodial. If I dial manually, they can access the net fine. I thought that perhaps my connection needed to be set as the default in the Internet Options control panel, so I did that and said to always dial my default connection, but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Just as an extra note, I tested the on-demand dialling a bit more and found that it doesn't have a problem dailling a modem dial-up connection when needed by a client, but it does have a problem 'dialling' via my DSL modem. My DSL provider uses PPPoE which requires a pseudo-dial to start the connection. In Dial-up Networking, it looks pretty much the same as a modem dial-up, only the device selected is an iVasion PoET adapter instead of a modem and the phone number is just 111-1111. I don't understand why it would have a problem initiating a dial on demand with this instead of a modem.

Also, one last thing, if I check both a modem and the iVasion PoET adapter, it will autodial and connect, but of course it will get stuck on the modem and say that one or more additional lines did not connect. So it can autodial through the PoET adapter, it just doesn't "want" to unless a modem is there with it. Does any have ANY ideas? Thanks
