Q3 asus g-force 256 /ver 3.66 spontaneous reboots

For some reason my asus ge force 256 deluxe card forces a reboot sporatically after the q3 is started. i am using 3. 66 and did the various tricks like gamma, and nvogld. xx or whatever it is placed in /windows/system before i install the driver 3.

Would anybody be interested in an IRC channel for the users of this forum? Sometimes, the forum does get a bit slow especialy when it's an emergency and you need answers fast. So perhaps this isn't such a bad idea.

Well the probs are that when aim hosting a game on mij client they can't come in. my configs are ,, w2k server ,cable connection on dhcp ,2 network cards at one computer ,1 for external (dhcp + share) and the second for internal network.

TBS Montego 1 A3D + TNT non-TV + Quake3 ?????

i am using 3. 66 TNT driver and the default audio driver. It seems Quake 3 will lock up quite a bit, but not the whole screen. A small part of the screen near the pic of the one of the players would still be redrawed, sound do come out.

Anyone get this to work in windows 2000/ I go to install it, says it isnt for NT4 system. Man, this is pathetic, Game is 2 days old, and it wont work. Maybe someone can shine some light on it =).

Hey guys ! I got win2k pro final here, and wasn't able to play my favorite game with my voodoo 2. . So there's what i did. . Before installing Win2k , i used regedit and i export the key refering to Nhl2k.

I am running NT4. 0 with service pack 4 and when I start FS2000 I get no sound? but when I quit FS2000 I have sound, It just won't play the game with any sound. . . . .

I can't get Descent 3 to work with Win2000 build 2195. I have a Voodoo3 2000 video card and a PCI 128 sound card. The game starts and goes to the menu area without any probelms. When I go to start a new game the computer screen goes blank and the computer locks up.

Homeworld crashes w/2195+GEforce

I cannot get homeworld to work with 2195. 3 and Creative Anihilator pro (Geforce DDR) with 3. 65 drivers. As soon as you select either D3d or Ogl drivers in setup, the game crashes to a black screen.

Does anyone know if the Abacus Games - Pacific Theater or Battle of Midway add-ons for the MS Combat Flight Simulator will work in Windows NT? Running NT 4. 0, SP5. Game boxes only list W95/W98 as compatible.

Hi ! I read about the Halflife problem of the black screen, when you press ESC during the game to go back to the menu ! But I played that with the original drivers of my voodoo3 3000, that Win2k installed first ! And with these driver there was not the Black Screen problem ! Can anybody tell me how to restore these ...

Under the games section T, for tomb raider the last revelation it tells to edit the exe file with a hex editor but I can't seem to find the offset addresses stated if anyone knows about hex editing can you please reply to this message.

Hello, trying to play MM7, but while it is loading, it boots me back to my desktop. I'm using the Nividia 3. 66 drivers for my Creative TNT2 Ultra. I think it's because there is no D3D support. . . any ides other than running the game in Software Rendered mode? Thx!!.

Need to start q3a or tribes twice to run

I have a bizzare and annoying problem, I'm running w2k final with a voodoo2 and a matrox g200. Whenever I want to start Tribes or Q3 I have to click to start it, then nothing happens, then I need to kill the game with taskman and then run it again and it works fine.

Is there any way i can run dual monitor configuration, with 2 3d cards and choose which one i want to do direct3d? The reason i ask is that my S3 virge will only work as the Primary card, but this means i cant play games on my Geforce

Ok. . . now that I've loaded the beta drivers for voodoo3 I can run Halflife,UNREAL Tourn,Urban Chaos,System Shock 2(using the -lgntforce switch with the setup. exe on SS2 CD),TombRaider4,NBA ID2K, and Im a happy camper.
