Ok, I have tried Windows ME and hate it. I have windows 2000 pro. I have tried many games on windows 2000, and all of them have run just fine. I'm trying to install NFS3 to use on my LAN. Working with NT4. 0 sp6. I found the directX 5 for NT fix, but looks like it's not enough. I heard about a NT fix for NFS3 but can't find it. . . Or is there any other way to make it work ? Please help.

W2k Voodoo 3 drivers with Quake 3 & UT

I have just upgraded my computer to Win2000 for networking reasons among other things, and can't figure out why my computer has problems playing games. I am using a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI, and the first problem is installing the drivers.

Playing Unreal under Direct3D or OpenGL

Can someone please tell me how to get Unreal to use my obviously capable GeForce DDR? I can see where the rendering options are listed under Advanced Options, but no matter what I click on or highlight, it still uses software rendering.

Have another issue, I fully installed it (500meg) and it loads just fine but when i go to play 'Porsche Test Driver' after the first race when i press esc to go to the second race windows2k does a memory dump and restarts my computer, does it everytime.

Anyone have any idea on how to get SS2 to recognise Voodoo2 drivers for W2K? Have installed SS2 on W2K with all the latest patches and drivers, yet the only graphics option I get in SS2 is software. .

Is there any way to fool older games to belive that the computer is slower than it is? I've gotten X-com: UFO defense to work, but to try and turn around on the map with a Athlon 750MHz. . . . Ok, now Windows ME is out. . . any idea when MS is gonna release DirectX 8. 0 for the rest of their line (2k, 9x, etc)?? From what I've seen, its a hell of a lot better than 7. . . . .
