Vortex WDM drivers!!!

has released the latest vortex/vortex2 drivers for win2000 on their page. Here is a direct link to the drivers for those of you who are lazy: Unfortunately, these are very basic and very beta drivers with no 4 spk support and no a3d support.

hey all again win2k gigabyte ga-5ax motherboard (ali chipset) i am really getting annoyed basically. I installed aspi32. exe then adaptec 4 and i still get bsods bsod: Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL i dont know what to do and its really getting on my nerves.

VIA Power Management and W2k

I have this little problem with Power Management. My motherboard uses VIA MVP3 chipset, and Win2k says it's unsupported. I have a EPOX EP-MVP3E motherboard. Does anyone know if there is a driver or fix for this problem.

How to enable FSAA in Windows 2000?

How do I enable the FSAA function in Windows 2000 for my Geforce DDR? In Windows 98, the key is located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Class\Display\000x\NVIDIA\OpenGL\ EnableFSAA=1 I can't find this key in Windows 2000.

5.13 Det and D3D for Messiah?

Do the 5. 13 drivers support Direct 3D? I've been trying to run Messiah which only does Glide or D3D and it says it can't detect any Direct3D drivers. . . Any help? I had trouble installing the 5. 13 also, at the very end it said file could not be found and just left it as that, but opengl works fine (Q3).

Hi ! My Iomega parallel port zip drive ist even slower as in Windows98. . . how can i make it faster ?!?! Is there a parallel port accelerator like in Win98 ? c ya Snoop.

Win2k, MM7, SPR and Q3

Ok, I have the new 5. whatever drivers, but I still have four problems. First, Might and Magic 7 will still only run in software mode. Might and Magic 8 will run in hardware, however. South Park Rally won't start at all, and the brightness slider in Q3 only works up to about 1/3 of the way.

i have a geforce ddr, and i got the new 2000 drivers, 513, i enable fsaa, and then i close the window. i go back in and it is unselected! and where is the s3tc option? anyone know how to fix these problems? look at this picture i made.

Windows 2000 is the best OS I've ever used

I've been using Windows 2000 for a month now, and I must say it's the best OS I've used to date. I use it for everything, games, all my apps, whatever! Works like a SOB. Only thing that I'm waiting on is my Dxr3 card.

I have a Geforce running ucer Win2K but on the first time set up it goes a a VGA. So I downloaded the latest drivers from NVidia and set it up but then on reboot for the settings to take effect it boot to a black screen.

SOUNDBLASTER 16 ISA & Win2k

Win2k won't detect my ISA SB16 card. I'm pretty sure it's PnP, but even the hardware scan turns up nada. It just DOESN'T exist. I tried a few other old ISA devices I have lying around, and they all have the same result.

Liveware 2000 4 speakers

Hi, I can't seem to enable the 4 speaker output for the Line-In port on my SB Live. I could enable it on my Win98 install with Liveware 3 which also enabled me to adjust the treble and bass on the line-in.

Windows 2000 Joystick Problem

I'm having a problem here with my joystick. The one that hooks into the gameport. . allrighty. I have build 2195. no expiration version, and am using the default win2k drivers for my Sblive. A Microsoft Sidewinder (Not 3d or pro) hooked up to a y cable with some pedals.

Anyone know how to install the hauppauge wintv usb into w2k. I d/l'd the latest driver (1. 41) which I think they said in their faq should work with it. The driver died saying the OS isn't win98. Help.

Diamond Supra Express 56K USB - Need Drivers

I just got this modem today and I've been searching for and trying drivers under win2k for hours with no success. In the compatability list on this site someone mentioned that the drivers listed under Compaq for the Lucent 56K usb modem worked for win2k rc3.
