Voodoo 2 in RC2

I read the 3DFX faq, but then the messages here re 😀3D being disabled for unsigned drivers gave me the impression that the Voodoo 2 may not be usable currently under win2k:rc2 (2128)? Does the altered inf file with the NT4 drivers work fine under 2128? Glide/d3d/ogl? Thanks!!!

i am trying to install my external cd-writer under windows 2114 and it seem not to work. . . maybe it's me. . . . hope so it use the shurestore adapter for parallel to scsi need more information to make it work.

Here you can find a beta driver with D3D, didn't test it yet. . . . . . . . Let me know if it works. No directdraw support anymore, you can't have everything :-((.

Does any1 know if Permedia2 video cards work well under Win2k RC2? My frieds is in love with SoftImage and he want to upgrade from NT4 to 2000. I just wonder if the card will work well under 2000 with SoftImage.

i have a stb tv pci tuner card without the fm and i got the newest drivers for the card but i still can't get it to work with win 2000. i know it's probally an old card but i need it i have no other way to get my web camera to work.

Ok, i have a voodoo3 3500 and i followed all of the instructions from the site, but, when i reboot with the changes, i get a really messed up screen. . . flickering, cant make out anything. I noticed that there are no NT drivers for the 3500 on 3dfx's site.

Abit BP6 and ATA66

I have BP6 motheboard and planning to get ATA66 HD. I heard that Abit has no drivers for the controller. Does it mean that Win2k will not be able to see the HD on the ATA66 controller? Or will it just work as a ATA33 ??????.

Two NICs?

Hey, anyone know if RC1 can support two NICs? This is in a dual cpu machine FYI, the cards work fine when they are by themselves, but stick both of them in and system freezes at the start-up screen. Any help appreciated, thanks.

I tried all the solutions I've seen everywhere, it's useless. I don't even want to BOOT on a 66 HD ! I want to be able to SEE it, that's all ! installing the 1. 10 HPT BIOS, using beta drivers 1. 00.

Hi, Just recently installed Win2k / 2128, No problems with the install, all hardware went ok, except for the matrox display drivers but that seems to work now though even the nt drivers did work also.

How do I get 2 speakers pairs to work with my SB Live!, for 3D Sound ? Under Win98 it works fine with the Creative Software. . . btw : Anyone tried to install the SB Live! software from the SB Live cd under W2K Build 2128 ?.

Hello, Just recently installed Win2k / 2114, No problems with the install, all hardware went ok, but I've been trying to get the OpenGl for the I740 running, and it seems that despite the registry hack (adding gfxdrv key) doest work.

this is really killin me, cant update bios from 1.09 to 1.10

I do everything the readme says, and it gives me a unkown device error and goes back to command prompt DOH!. . . . . . The only thing I think it could be is the bootdisk I have is not running in pure dos mode.
