Anyone get Advansys ABP 5140 working on Win2K

I've got an ABP-5140 SCSI card in my machine that I use for my Panasonic CD Burner. It works fine in Win98, but I'm having trouble getting it to work properly in Win2K. I know the card is not that great, but it suits my needs fine since it's only used for my burner.

IRQ affinity with Win2K

I read on some web page (can't remember which) that it was possible to define IRQ affinity on a multi proc system ( like cpu affinity for prog) i. e. you can choose on which cpu, IRQ will be treated.

cd-creator 4.02S Read speeds

I have a Sony DVD (24x CD), a 24x SCSI CD-rom and an Aopen 6x4x24 burner. When using ezy cd-creator deluxe 4. 02S (or , the program reports that my cd-rom drives can't read quick enough to do cd-cd copying.

Bluescreen on portcls.sys

Hi! When using Winamp 2. 61 or Sonique 1. 51 and doing something different like copying files from on disk to another, my systm crashes with a bluescreen. The errormessage says error on portcls. sys.

3d Prophet OpenGL proablem

Why is it I open up any OpenGL program and my computer reboots on me for no reason it does it with almost every driver I have tried please someone help me I have the P5A - ASUS MB k6-2 450mhz 128mb ram 3d prophet with DDR someone please give me some input please!!! I am frustrated enough!!!

Ok, here is my dilemna. I go to a school that has some sort of block on UDP packets. Basically, I can't play any game on the Internet until midnight on Friday night and then the block goes back on Sunday night at midnight.

I have just recently installed Win2K, now the Adaptec 3. 5 software for the burner will not work on 2K, it says I need to update to 4. 02, the problem is in order to update to 4. 02 I need a previous vs of the software installed.

5.13 drivers...A far fetched theory...

Ok guys, I have been reading all the posts on people having trouble with Nvidias 5. 13 drivers. I have a theory, and I may be WAY off base, but I have seen stranger things happen in Win2k. Please no flames, just a thought on the basis of everyones reports.

I'm having random lockups running W2K Pro. I've got a Creative TNT2, SB Live, and an Intel Pro 100 as my major hardware running on an FIC SD-11 with an Athlon 700. I found that my vid card, sound card, network card and USB ports are all using IRQ 9 and Device Manager won't let me adjust the settings.

Hey i have an Asus K7m m/b, and i want to flash it to ver 1008, cause of the Super by-pass feature but it says i have to create a boot disk, and boot to DOS, i am running win 2k Pro, and it says i have to run the program MAke boot.

Does DirectX 7 work with Win2K?

I can't play any 3d DX7 games (Thief 2, Half-Life) w/o terrible graphic anomalies (flashing polygons, flickering textures, and smeared lights). This is on a CL GeForce/PIII. I've tried all drivers for my video card and monitor.

Hi! I have a major problem, I can't get my Nokia Cardphone 2 to work under Windows 2000. Nokia have no drivers but told me that the proper AT-commands should do the trick. I have tried but failed, so now I'm asking you guys for help.

OpenGL not working Voodoo 3 2000 PCI

I have a voodoo3 2000 PCI card, it works great in Glide and Direct 3D, but all programs say that Open GL is not supported. As we all know Open GL is much faster than Direct 3D especially in HalfLife.

Why I'm throwing out the MX300

Now with Aureal going bankrupt it looks like I'll never see a driver update again. And there's still a huge problem: win2k+smp+q3+a3d 3. 0+vortex2. Causes my q3 to hang. Guess I'll have to look at a new card.
