IR in Win2k

I've got a Toshiba 4010cdt notebook, and would like to be able to sync my palm using IR. The only problem is, I can't get the IR port to assume a fake com port under win2k like I can in Win98. Any suggestions?.

Greetings all, I have a Supermicro P6DGS motherboard with onboard Adaptec AIC-7895 Ultra-Wide SCSI. Currently, I have two hard drives, a IBM DDRS39130 Which is a SCSI-2 LVD drive, and an IBM DFHS 4. 5 GIG drive.

Where are the UMAX Scanner drivers? I have a 2000U. No drivers on their web site. Do they not know Windows 2000 was released in February? I am tired of this BS.

bizzare cd burner problem

ok heres the situation, yesterday i fired up ez-cd 4 and made a few music cd's (5) to be exact, no trouble no problems nothing all was right with the world. about 4 hours later no reboot no changes played a few hours of asherons call is all i did.

I've just picked up a second hand tvtuner/video capture card (no documentation). I found a driver for win98 and it works fine. But what I'm really after is a driver for NT4. I've searched around but can't find any.

HP CD -Writer 8200 plus problems

Hi folks, hope I can get some information from ya. . here is the problem I am having. . My CD RW says it is not a read/write cd? Have all the drivers that I can think of latest ones from adaptec 4. 02 etc.

CD Drives have disappeared

Help, I recently installed a HP 9310i CDRW on 2k and everything seemed ok with the installion of Adaptec 4. 02c. I then went to use CDRWIN and it came back with the usual aspi errors. I dug around and found the latest aspi drivers installed them, tested them and everything seemed wonderful with the world.

NT 4.0 -- Hard Drives bigger than 8 Gig??

Hi Guys, i hope anyone of you can help me How can i use my 14 gig hrd drive under NT4. While setting up my comp nt4 reports an error that my drive is bigger than 8 gig and cancelles installation.

Just installed Windows ME on a extra box I had laying around and I must say that I'm impressed with it. No problems loading drivers and the best part is. . . . . ALL MY GAMES WORK. I will leave this box setup to play games that I can not play on W2K.

My system: Tiger 133 2 MSI 6905 DUAL Master Slocket Converters 2 Celron 366 256MB PC100 20gig MAXTOR Ultra DMA66 Windows 2000 Everytime I force the CPUs @ a 100mhz FSB with the slockets win2k blue screens me and gives me the stop error: 0x05 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA - ntoskrnl.

Winfast TV2000 & TNT in WIN2K

I downloaded the winfast tv2000 drivers but I still have problem. Ths screen of the tuner is not so good and stuck for every 3 seconds. I think it's Graphics BLaster RIVA TNT AGP problem. Anyone help??.
