Hibernation problems with Abit BH6

Hi! I got an Abit BH6 motherboard with the newest Bios (QN) and Win2K intalled. My problem is if I turn off APM in Win2K, hibernation mode works fine, but the computer doesn't automatically power off.

Ok i want to know if win2k server will run on the following system. Im running nt4 on it and it really like to upgrade: AMD K6 233 64Meg Ram 1. 7 Gig Hard Disk Really Crap ATI Graphics Card (256kb or summat) Id like to get win2k on there and if i can ill use it as a dedicated lan server.

Running an Abit BH6 with ACPI enabled, and latest Bios. Just installed windows, and im having some problems with the sound card drivers (Aureal Vortex 2) The applications crash out with an error The instruction at (address) referenced memory at (address).

Hi, I've just recently switched to Windows 2000 as 98 was getting on my nerves. I am well impressed with 2000 but I can't get any games working with my graphics card (Maxi Gamer Phoenix) I've downloaded the NT4 drivers for the card, but wanted to get your opinions before I install them.

SB Live owners w/crackling: try this

This is probably the stupidest possible solution for fixing SB Live! sound crackling problems, but it worked for me. Open up your volume control, and mute PC Speaker. As soon as I did that, the crackling faded away and never came back.

Creative Live! drivers give a crawl for GF 256DDR ?

I am running a good system, check the signature below. And if I stick with the WDM drivers I fine, but if i install Live! drivers 3. 0 alone or with Liveware its gives a crawl when you encode MP3 or play Deus Ex, it uses tracker music, pretty similar to playing mp3 in cpu use refers.

sidewinder gamepad & MX400 in Win2K

I have a monster sound MX400 operating in win2K and I cant get my microsoft sidewinder gamepad to work. When I add a game controller I use the Microsoft Sidewinder (autodetect) and it tells me I have a sidewinder 3D Pro, which I don't.

P3 cumine 800 running like an athlon 650 =(

I've gotta new p3 cumine 800 and asus ge-force (6800 deluxe), its not too shabby. . . . one minor complaint. . . . i get theeee most appauling framerates around, 138fps on demo1. dm2 (i used to get 149 with my athlon 650 (asus ge-force as well) - and quake3 is totally un-changed.
