?how to install/problems NT4 on 45GB hard drive

I am trying to install NT4 iether as single or dual boot (with 95 or 98 - have 'upgrade' NT4) on a 45 GB IBM ATA100 hard drive; I keep getting error/go away messages during setup even though the primary partition is formatted as fat 16 - also it wont let me convert to ntfs during setup.

I tried everything to get this sucker working wiht Whistler. Even the W2k users got problems with this scanner. . . . Hopefully someone is able to help me. . . . .

Ok. . . so after the debacle of installing w2k and then whistler. . . I installed winme. It installed into C:\windows. 000, with whistler being in c:\windows. If I deleted C:\windows and renamed C:\windows.

2428 = Best Windows yet

I have been using windows xp build 2428 for a few days now as my main os. It has performed exceptionally. I never imagined that it would be so much faster than windows 2000. It boots as fast as winme and has all the 2000 features and then some and it is a dream to work with.

I've tried installing build 2428 and I get stuck at the same spot too. I use a TNT2U card and it still halts. So I borrowd my brother's Voodoo4 and the same thing. Next I pulled out my old ATi All-in-Wonder, and it still hangs at that same spot.

I have a Winfast Geforce 2 GTS 64 MB card and in most games it kicks butt. But some games look as if im running a voodoo 1 so i am forced to go to win98 with better results but still not satisfying. Anybody else ever have this problem.

Hello Everyone, I'm coming upon an error just after login with Windows XP 2428 Professional. It complains of corrupt or missing system files. I have booted into safe mode already and set the Activation to 0 to no avail.

Hello. I saw a listing that someone was able to get the logitech quick cam pro, beige ring working in win2k. I was wondering how they were able to do that? it says they used the 4. 1. 1 drivers, but I only have the update drivers for that.

System Files on All NTFS Partitions?

When I run the disk defrag utility in Win2k and analyze my partitions each partition, no matter what is on the drive has a chunk of space that is green, which means system files. I know on the C: that is the swap file but on a partition that just stores files?.

i just got an ast133 Ascentia , in for rep. Cant get passed the bios code. This guy, tried to remove the bios code that where working with none, as in removed the letters, so it was empty, and pressed save.
