Burning in win2k

I have basically wrecked 10 cd's since I installed win2k. I dont want to torch anymore. Whats the deal? I got the aspi update. The only iso that I have been able to burn is one that I tried to test with eazy cd and it burned it!! Does anybody have a recommendation for which program to use to burn iso's in win2k?.

Hey all, I'm looking to install Win 2k on my system. Currently running Abit BE6 (version1) using an IBM U66 15 gig drive. My board has the intergrated Highpoint 66 controller. I was wondering if their was a special driver/setup I need to do in order to get it to work properly under 2000.

I just purchased a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer (the optical mouse with two additional buttons), only to find out that the included IntelliPoint software (required for the additional buttons) doesn't work with Windows 2000.

I used to have an Ati Rage 128 with Win2000 drivers working. I changed for an GeForce 256 (SDR) from Creative (Annihilator). Work fine under Win98 SE. Found Win2000 drivers on the net (v3. 56 and v3.

This question is three fold. I currently have a 13 gig ata66 drive sitting in my box. However, the motherboard does *not* support the protocol, leaving the drive at 33. I am looking to buy one of those nifty PCI cards allowing another four ide channels as well as Ultra ATA66.

i upgraded from win98se to win2000 pro final on a fat32 partition. and now i want to change from fat32 to ntfs partition and i don't want to re-install windows 2000. any ideas??.

Ok, I just got my dual 550 and win2k pro 2195 running. Everything is great. However, I'm having two problems. 1 - I use an adaptec controller and a plextor 8/20 cdr. The adaptor is configured fine, but no cdr software seems to see it.

More Liveware 3 problems

I had Liveware 3 working fine under RC2. However, after my upgrade to RC3, it converted the drivers to the built in ones. When following the newest fix instructions to install Liveware 3 again, I can't get past the first few steps.

DVD-RAM software for win2000

Hi, Does anybody know of any dvd-ram software that supports Windows 2000? I just purchased a DVD-RAM drive and it came with no NT or 2000 drivers so i'm stuck with 98 (yuck) The only program that I've heard of is writeDVD.

Hi Everyone. I'm curious how everyone is planning (or has) their partition layouts. I'm from the old NT camp where we always had 3 partitions. A small FAT partition for emergency repairs, an NTFS partition for OS and a third NTFS partition for data.

Hi, As I don't have a bootable CD-Rom drive, I tried to install NT by copying all the files onto harddisk and then running WinNt. exe from the command prompt, but the funny thing is after I rebooted setup crashed with an Inaccessible boot device error.
