Which Scanner for Win2k?

I am getting ready to buy a scanner, but I want it to work in win2k with the USB interface. After reading reviews, it seems to best scanners are Epson and HP. I have seen in the forum that HP isn't planning on making win2k drivers.

Ive got a problem with my soundcards and win2k i cant get 2 soundcards working. . just one of them but with regular win98 they work directly got any clue ?!? please help.

Win2k freezes with Ali,AMD,TnT2

after Installation it comes a black Sreen the i boot in VGA and install 3. 53 or 3. 64 or 3. 65 TnT2 Drivers (each Installation other Drivers). Ok he boot normaly in Win2k and everything seems to be happy.

Dual-Boot HELP!!

I have Win98 in one HD and W2K in another. They are bootable by themself. How should i modify my boot. ini in W2K in order to make them dual-boot? Thanks!.

HELP!! Network doesnt work

I cant get my network-card to work ,, when i select the drivers from the windows2kpro CD(and i know it is the exacly right)it just say the device cant start(code 10). . and it has worked befor on W98.

I having problems with my DVD-Software! I use the Matrox G400 DH and I want to install the Matrox DVD-Player but the setup. exe don't execute! Under win98 it works fine! Can someone help me, because other players (not PowerDVD) have the same problems.

W2K and a winmodem

Hello everybody! I have a internal modem and it don't work under NT5. The modem is a Zoltrix FMHSP56PCI PHANTOM = 56k V. 90 internal Are there anywhere a driver who emulate a winmodem on the com-ports? Nodo.

I just get my hands on a product called Cable-Projector. No drivers or spec os is needed, install just plug it on you're graphic card and it will work. Tv-Out on every graphic card and in any os, PC/MAC support.

cant acces cd-rom after using cdrw

Im using easy cd creator 4. 01 and cdrwin 3. 7f and 3. 8a each cd is burning ok except that i cannot aces cd-rom drive or cdrw after a burned a Cd any idea ??????? w2000 2195 yamaha crw4001 -cdrw mat****a cr-588 -cd-rom both on same ide channel.

UT and 3.69 one more time

Ok so far I have tried 3. 66 and 3. 68 and could not get D3D or AGP to be detected. Now I have 3. 69 and it crashes everytime I run UT. I followed the link to the new 3d3ddrv. dll file, put it in the system folder for UT and it still crashes.

I can not access my linux-server running samba directly, I can log in but get an RPC-error, but when I try \\server\share I can access it, I don't get it, you? Thnxs If you'r not out there somebody else will be!

I have an ATI Rage Fury 32 Megs and i have Final Win2k installed i know that it works for D3d Stuff but i would like to play Q3 with it. If anyone knows where i can get some BETA drivers or some hack or somehting that would let me do this please email me at Gaidin@orst.

Sound not working even though there are no conflicts

I am using an I/O Magicwave PCI soundcard (I believe this uses that Aureal Vortex 1 chip). The drivers are installed and device manager shows no conflicts. Yet, I don't get any sound. It was working fine just an hour before when I was still on Windows 98, and I didn't mess with the speakers or anything.

I hate companies that make scanners!!

What is the deal with scanner manufacturers?? I've been looking at midrange scanners (i. e. HP4200cxi, Epson 636u) And both companies are NOT supporting win2k. Epson will support about every scanner but the 636u, and HP isn't supporting hardly any scanners.
