driver for generic volume prevents Hibernation

I used to have the Ensonique sound card in my puter. Didn't like the way it sounded in Win2k as it crackled. Tried all sorts of driver updates. Replaced with XWAVE card from Yamaha and that ROCKS! TV, USB, working on Win 2000

I have managed to get the WInTV USB TV device working under windows 2000 using the win 98 devices. Here is how to do it (pretty much a memory dump): 1) download the following from : usbdr141. exe hcwsubid.

UMAX powerlook III + win2k

I can't get my UMAX powerlook III to work with the NT 4 or w95/98 drivers. Microsoft doesn't provide any drivers either. HELP!! I need to use my scanner!.

Using 2 Display Adapters...

I just been wondering. . i have an ASUS board. with an Onboard AGP Graphic Adapter ( ATI ). . and i wanted to get an voodoo 3. . since i can't disable the ATI, can i install the voodoo 3 PCI, and select it as the primary adapter under windows 2k ??.

HP 8200 cdrw and aspi drivers

I have the 8200 and easy cd creator 4 and I'm getting an aspi driver file error it says the specified driver is invalid. does anyone know where to find a valid one. . .

!!HELP!! Stop error in install!

I tried to install win2k but from the original DOS blue and grey install screen I get a stop error when it says starting windows 2000 it goes to a blue and white screen and says UNKNOWN HARD ERROR with code: c0000221 on NTDLL.

driver hack??

hello. I have the 3com 3C905B-TX 10/100 NIC and i noticed that my performance (in related to ping times and download speeds) is not nearly as good as they were when i was running windows 98. I was wondering if anyone has or is planning on writing new or modifying NT4.

This is what I have come to undertand and is my opinion on the future of Operating systems, Feel free to leave your comments and opinions. Windows 2000 (NT5) is just the next generation OS after Windows NT 4, not Windows 98.

Alright, a somewhat different question regarding getting Win2k back onto my box. I had a 98/NT/Win2k system, and I wanted to put Win2k (pro) over NT (server). Simple enough, I delete NT's WINNT dir, and get Win2k to install to that dir.

Driver for anypoint

Microsoft's compatibility check says that 10mbps version is supported but i can't seem to be able to find the dirver. Anybody here knows where i can get it or it's not out yet. .
