Voodoo3 2000 on NT4 SP5 not working

I can't get my Voodoo3 2000 PCI board to except the 3dfx driver. I have been trying the V1. 02. 10 driver. Has anyone else had problem and if so did you resolve them? TIA.

After been too afraid of installing this card in Win2K Final server after complete failures in several W2K betas I got some excellent advices from Hauppage today: Dear Mr. Zoega, you should: · go to the Device Manager and uninstall (remove) Multimediacontroller and Videocontroler for Multimedia · run W2K302.

ACPI on ASUS P2B

I do not have ACPI functions in windows 2000, such as suspend or hibernate. . . I use 1009 BIOS, and win2000 says I have an ACPI compliant computer in device manager. . . Furthermore, I have no monitor detected, it says standart monitor type.

W2K and Gloria II Quadro

The hardware compatibility list here mentions that someone apparently got the new Elsa Gloria II cards with the Quadro chips working under Win2K. But the driver they used was not clear. It was something on the Asus site.

New voodoo3 drivers and multitexturing.

I have a bit of a problem with the new drivers. Multitexturing (on my velocity 100) is turned of by the 3dfx drivers. Under win98 I know which registry setting I should use. But for windows 2000 I don't.

Help, I can fix my prob but it comes back?

Here is my prob, i can be installing something or browsing the NET and my comp will freeze, then when i restart i get that IRQ not equal blue screen error on startup. But i found out that if i take my PCI ethernet card and load last good config from F8 it will load great then I can shutdown and put the network card ...

Gravis Xterminator and V4 Force Feedback

Has anyone gotten the Gravis Xterminator or V4 Force Feedback Wheel to work in Windows 2000? Neither company offers drivers yet, which is understandable, but i was just wondering if anyone had put anything together to make them work.

I just upgraded my PIII 450 abit bx6 2 to an bi PIII 450 a-trend 6280M and I got various display pb using realplayer an dmedia player I fixed the one with RP7 by disabling video optimization but i'd like to understand.

bigfitty, A while back you posted this msg: i just d\l'd the latest nt 4. 0 drivers from aureal's site and they work great! they are vers 2. 04 they are here: they enabled my rear speakers! as with any nt 4.

hi, i downloaded the voodoo3 beta drivers and i read D3D idc. . . . etc but the D#D option it's grayed (i can't chek it) and. . . . i play to homeworld but ,i can't play in glide or open glide but in Direct 3D sorry i don't understand i have read on this site (can play in OPglide with Homeworld.

i got the abit bx6-2 and just updated to the latest bios. im wondering now, if it's worth to switch on the ACPI Enable in Bios, and tell win2k 2195 to use it. . . what's the advantage of it for me? any comments would be welcome.

About the new retail drivers that 3dfx just posted on their site ( January 31 ), for NT, is there gonna be an update for the win2k drivers that is posted here on this site ? ( V2_NT5_ICD. zip ( i think ), or if we want to try to use the new ones, we just download the drivers, but use the same of.
