Am I retarded or something?

I'm kinda confused here. . . according to microsoft I'm supposed to have a Support directory in my Win2k cd. . it's not there. . . Also according to microsoft I'm suppost to have a Support. cab somewhere and in that CAB file, there's supposed to be a file called APCOMPAT.

Does anybody know why CDRwin in win 2k will burn a playstation cd fine but when played in playstation it will not play CDRWIN is great win WIn9X for playstation can anybody tell my why or if there is a CDRWIN for win2k getting released

TweakUI & "show version on desktop"

Unlike most ppl here, I never got to see any of the Win2k beta's, so I was curious what this show windows version on desktop was all about. I saw the option in tweakUI, so I tried it. It was neat, but now I want to turn it OFF! I've unchecked the box, but it won't go away! lol Any clues?.

Nero and NTFS

I have Nero 4. 0. 7. 5 and latest ASPI drivers. My problem is with the NTFS partition. Nero tries to read the folder System Volume Information, but since it's protected it cannot access it. This results in a failure sometime during the session and I'm left with a useless cd.

I know that win2k has theme support and I know how to run them, but my question is how come themes. exe isnt associated with. theme files and how to I make a file association that will load the theme once I click it (in to the theme viewer).

Anybody having problem with Adobe Photoshop 5.5?

I am running Win2000 (Build 2195) and I am having problem with Adobe Photoshop 5. 5. Whenever I use Eraser (for example, to erase background out of a picture and turn it to transparent)my computer would freeze after like 10 seconds of Eraser use.

Win2k+SB Live+DIN???

Has anyone gotten the SB Live with the DIN connection (for FPS2000 speakers) to work in Win2000? The normal analog connection works but I need to get the DIN connection to work. .

Is the 2195 Win2k realy final build ? During the instalation I've seen the information that it is 120 days evaluation copy ? By the way is this version ready for upgrade by somthing like service pack for NT4.

What's up all, I just noticed that on my machine if I hibernate and then restart the computer (with APM turned off), then I get the volume control icon in the taskbar (which i removed from control panel:audio & multimedia).

In Win2000 Pro, my MX300 is deteced and configured seemingly properly as Vortex Multifunction Parent, Aureal Vortex 8830 Audio (WDM), and Aureal Vortex Game Port. Unfortunately, the card sounds as if it's adding a loud buzz filter to whatever it plays.
