SnapStream anyone?

Hey, anyone else using SnapStream yet? Its this online recording, viewing, file sharing program that runs with video capture cards. Pretty cool program. . . lets you record and view programs on another computer from anywhere online.

WIN2k running out of sockets?

can anyone tell me whats causing this after a while not always i stay connected caus use my AOL instant messenger but i can't use IE or netscape or MIRC says i ran out of sockets, after a reboot its okay, what is the problem

Missing Desktop Folder

OK, this is the second time this has happened. I start using IE, and when a page starts to load, I get an error that: \Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop is inaccessible I then go see if my desktop is gone, and sure enough, it is.

Need help with Outlook Exp on Win2k

Hey, I'm using a 2 hour fresh install of Win2kPro. Whenever I go to load OE it takes minutes and I do mean minutes !!!!! to load. It seems to just hang until all of a sudden up it pops - usually when I'm about to log off out of sheer frustration.

Unknown freezes in win2k

I have a major problem. My win2k freezes all the sudden randomly. The only place it does´nt but is in games. When i had a voodoo3000 and win2k beta it worked fine! i´m on a: Asus V6600 Geforce athlon 500 192 ram Please help, its frustrating!!!.

strange problems with 3DMark2000, WCPUID (and SP1?)

since installing SP1 i have noticed some very strange results from these two programs, WCPUID recognises my processor as running at somewhere between 0. 5 and 6MHz (changes each time i click analyse) and occasionally gets it right at 749MHz.

Hi there! I've a big problem here. I bought an ASUS P2B-D with 2 PIII 800, 512 MB RAM. 3D STUDIO MAX (any version) works perfectly on Win98. I've installed Win2000 Proffessional edition (for the support of the bi-processors) with the multi boot menu.

Need Help with NT 4.0!

I got 2 PC's in my Network and everytime the users log in the system32 folder opens automatically. The both Have NT 4. 0 with SP6a. I've tried to check everything but nothing will stop this folder from opening.

Restore startup folder??

Can someone tell me if there's something special with the startup folder? I am running Windows 2000 Pro, and i mistakenly deleted my startup folder (Admin account) and since then i can't get any programs to startup with windows.
