I didn't see anywhere in this article where the user tested with Jumbo Frames. The SMC gigabit switches are the only home switches on the market (that I know of) that support jumbo frames. Using this feature will dramatically reduce CPU utilization and will probably increase transfer speeds. It would have been nice if he did some tests with the different sizes.
