Hello, I have a Creative Voodoo 2 12mb card and a ATI Rage II card. I have installed the latest windows 2000 drivers for my voodoo 2 card. I can play quake 3 arena, but I have no glide and direct 3d support, so I can't play F1 2000 and Need for Speed 5: Porsche Unleashed and all the old glide and direct 3d games.

Dos Bios upgrades in W2K, how to???

Hi, I'm new in Win2K, and i was in the will to update my motherboard bios! But how can i do it? The Flash program comes from Award and it runs only in MS-Dos mode with no emm386, how can i go to dos? Thanks Pedro Viana

For Windows 2000: If you create any archive in the. . \system32 directory called ddhelp. exe (may be an empty text file) then the game detectc DirectX and works as in windows 9X. .

Voodoo2 + video card w/ 2 "monitors"

Okay, let me try to explain this a little clearer. The current setup I have is a G400 Max as primary video card with a Voodoo2 for 3D and glide support. Along with that is a REALMagic Hollywood Plus DVD card.

CRC errors with Zip archives

Hi, I know this isn't stricly a Win2K problem, but since I'm running Win2k. . . Anyhow, I downloaded a zip file that spans multiple volumes. When I try to extract the files from the Zip, I get the following message: Please insert disk number 1 of the spanned Zip file into drive C:.

what's been your experience with the nVidia 5. 13's and the Hollywood Plus dvd-decoder card? had a ***** of a time on my own: dvd station would play for seven seconds exactly then disappear leaving static image on TV / fuzzy blacks on VGA.

HELP - HP 8100 and NERO

I installed Nero. When I open it, it wont detect my HP 8100 drive. Yes, I installed the ASPI drivers from Sedzar's page correctly. I dont know how to fix it. I'm clueless.

Freezes (not random lock-ups)

I've been having a fair few occasions recently, whereby trying to start a program up - causes the system to freeze. . . . the program (it can vary sometimes) won't start. . . starting task manager doesn't help because i can't see the program to kill it.
