Iv moved to windows2000 pro and its great. . all you users of ME and 98 go get urself windows2000 and forget ME and 98. 2000 runs all my games and just as good as 98 and ME and no crashes at all. - 1.

I found a site (conspiracy type pages) that gets moved or shut down a lot. I'd like to save the whole thing (including all media files) to my hard disk. How can I do this? I am using Win2K + IE6. .

IIS FTP server information

Is there any kind of a GUI or Console based application that will tell me information about my ftp server? Such as who is connected, what they are downloading, and speed of the transfer. I'd like to stick with IIS FTP and not switch to another Server.

I need some help on this, I installed NERO, all was fine before it, but now, after I reboot my pc after nero install, the computer doesnt seem to recognize the cd rom and cd-rw drives. Example: I go to my computer and the drives don't show there.

IRQ problem with firewire video capture on K7VZA MB

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this. I just helped a friend build a machine from parts and it all worked great until he tried video editing (the whole reason he bought the machine). THe computer is an ECS K7VZA mb with Athlon 1ghz processor and 768mb and 60gig HD.

Direct3d Drivers For Voodoo 2???

I recently installed WinXp Pro on my P233 w/ 160MB Ram I got a Guillemot Voodoo2 card and I can't get DirectX to work on it. Does anyone know where I could get drivers that support this API if they exist? Help would be appreciated!!! Thanks ***PART OF OUR LIFE IS CHANCE.

as i read here, problem with winoncd is still not solved today i installed xp again and first thing i did was installing aspi codec (force aspi). then i install nero 5540 (using compatibility mode) and nero was installed succesfully.

Keyboard lag in NFS 3

Anyone else having keyboard lag problems? It's not the frame rate or the drawing speed, the game seems really smooth and runs fast. It's just like a delay between when I push a key and get a response.

W2k SP2 stupid question....

Have tried multiple times to install SP2 with no luck. All the files get downloaded no prob, then the status bar updates as it creates some. cab files. Then as it is doing the next step (whatever that is), I get the blue screen of death and have to do a hard shut down.

I d/l the driver for directX/glide/openGL for windows XP. The installation instructions at ntcompatible. com say that to install I firt have to download the new Win2k V4/V5 drivers from here. I click the link here and get a page not found error.
