Screen capture in dos games ?

A friend of mine asked me why he couldn't use the 'print screen' touch of the keyboard in order to get a screenshot and later to paste it in Paint or any other prog. ? Is there another way to manage this, an option to activate or disactivate ? Thanx for any hint !.

Anyone having a UMAX scanner should note out that the version cited here is for FireWire users. That means those majority of us who own a USB scanner (ie. Astra 2100U) should NOT download this. Instead, simply go over to and download the right drivers from there.

I recently bought a new motherboard and cpu, see below for system details. When trying to install Windows XP. It gets to the part that says Setup is starting Windows XP and occasionally I get a little bit beyond that, but not much.

Whenever any computer tries to connect to one of my XP machines, it will try to logon as guest even though the account is disabled. And so it fails and comes up with a window to ask you to type the correct username and password in.

Can Win 2000 be used as a file server?

I have a group of clients (20) that use a Win 98 machine as a file server. They also run Win98. I want to increase security for the system at a minimal cost. I want to install Win 2000 Professional on the file server and create user accounts for all of the clients.

Here's the problem: The upshot appears to be that unless i make a paid support call to Microsoft, they won't give me the file. After a little more digging, it seems that the hot fix i need is called Q307716_W2K_SP3_X86_EN.

I was playing counterstrike and when I exited, it locked up. I restarted it, started up gamespy, and walked away for a second. When I came back it was restarting. I typed my password and before I could do anything it restarted again.

i got a diamond monster 3d 2 it is a realy old card so there r no Xp drivers for it. i read somehwere that its chipset was a voodoo2. does that mean i can use a voodoo2 xp driver for it???? please helpppppp.

I have an Athlon 1ghz with 256 mb 133 ram. I'm looking to upgrade my system here soon, but i don't want to blow a huge wad of cash. I haven't read anything on the latest P4's and Athlon XP's except that XP's cost less.

I down loaded a movie clip. . . . . movie. clip. ts. and when I try to play it, I get the location cannot be opened error. What should I do? I have the latest The Playa codec from I have tried burning the clip on a cd and running it from the cd drive and nothing.

My testbed P2-450 128MB RAM Adaptec 2940 / Seagate 4 gig HD Win2000 Server I finally was able to install the program but this is what I have found. During the setup I have told NT to use the entire partition (4330 MB) for the OS.

ok, finally took the plunge and decided to oc my t-bird 800mhz. somehow i'm only able to hit 900mhz at default Vcore. I tried it @ 950mhz (9. 5x100) 1. 850Vcore and it will boot up but usually freezes out on me within 10minutes of use.
