Everquest No 3d device found error

I'm running win2k final w/ a tnt2 ultra, and when i start eq after the patch i get No 3d Device found I am using Detonator 3. 76. Any suggestions? please? thanks, -jester.

Hey everyone, I seem to be having a little bit of a problem with Tribes under Win2000 final release. Whenever I go to the list of servers, it seems to have a real problem. It's like the machine hangs and stutters and crawls to a stop until it finishes refreshing the servers.

The longest Journey Demo (Egmont Interactive)

I downloaded the english and german demo and installed them on two different machines. One with Win 2000 US with Matrox G400 and one with Win 2000 German with Voodoo 3 2000. On both machines the demo installs and runs fine (german demo saying it wont't run on NT but it does).

Yeah this is for the people that get that wierd application error. . . something like Application failed to initilize properly. . 0x50000000000000f or some crap. I forgot what it was because I havent installed it since I have reformatted.

Multiplayer half life error?

has anybody else had trouble playing half life over a lan i recently tried it at a LAN party and it seemed to crash randomly when you join or start a server sometimes it loaded only to delay the crash it said something about error/no error? im using 1.

I was playing Planescape Torment yesterday, and all of a sudden I got a blue screen with Machine Check Exception error. I tried again and after about 10 minutes of playing, same error. Then I tried playing the SIMS, and I got about 15 minutes in and same error.

I see too many topics on UT. . . well i wanna make some levels for UT with UED! Anybody get it to work? I'm running UT v4. 05 and I installed VB6 Runtime files, and the UnrealEd4 patch, but I get the error Can't find 'ini:Engine.

Diamond Stealth III S540 w/opengl/Q3

Okay I have a Diamond Stealth III S540 that runs off the s3 virge chip. I was wondering if anyone has gotten quake 3 or opengl to run with it in windows 2000. If not maybe Rogue Spear? Any kinda drivers for this card for opengl/direct3d/anything like that would be greatly appriciated.

Ive been trying to get Age of Empires 2 : Age of Kings working with win2k. And failing miserably. Im getting that stupid making a log error. I think it should be compatiable since it is listed on many win2k sites as compatiable.

Well as much as i like Q3Arena. . i like UT. Today i got the Cd and installed it in 2 computer. One with Win98 and the other with Win2000 RC2 with a Dual P-III 450. What it piss me off was all the time this game took to LOAD! WAOOOOOOOOO!!! even for loading the levels!!! Both computers did the same! I know that UT ...

Breakneck and Driver problems

I can't get Driver working on Win2k. When I try to run driver. exe, it's generating errors. What's the prob? When running Breakneck in arcade mode, the mouse pointer will not move. What's the prob? Thankful for every reply.

Intellimouse Explorer in Games

HELP: I got my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer and the 3. 0 drivers installed and it works good in Windows. HOWEVER, whenever I run a game, like Half-Life or Rogue Spear, the two side buttons (4 and 5) do not work.

Is anyone else having problems running GF on Win2K? It simply exits semi-randomly, but always when running a speech line. Using an SB16 (WDM driver) and a TNT with v3. 75 Detonators. (same problem also with earlier TNT drivers).

first of all i can play USAF but every time i push the options button USAF crashes. So there is no chance to switch resolution or other things in game, or maybe i´m wrong ? i hope someone can help me p.
