messiah - voodoo 2 - windows2000

Helpmeplease

Hi, I have a voodoo 2 and windows 2000, I can't use direct 3d, because there are no drivers for it, but I can use glide. When I run the messiah3dfx. exe(or something) the game starts normally but when I start the game and I heard sound, but my screen is just black.

It worked! the sims no longer has sound problems OR instability on my computer! I can't beleive it. . . THANK YOU! I had to connect and tell you. . . sh-t yeah!!!.

the menu suffers from sticky keys but when i get in the game everything is fine excpet the GFX seem to be fuct up with the walls being see thru. it plays fine tho. i have a TNT2U with the 5. 13 drivers and win2k pro 2195 from MSDN.

D3D Gamma Help Please!!! Gamma way to dark in Shogo!!!!!

Ok I was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the gamma for Shogo. i'm using the latest V3 2000 drivers from 3DFX and as most of you know under the 3DFX tweaks tab the D3D Gamma slider is grayed out.

I recently upgraded to w2K, and for the most part I'm happy. . . but my favorite game. . . The Sims. . . has sound problems. I have an Aureal Vortex 2 card and recently got the reference drivers, hoping they would alleviate the problems.

Halflife in W2K Adv. Server - No go with my V3 3500

Well. . . here's the drill. Installed Half-Life and tried to start the game. Asked for the CD Key, then basically just died without an error or anything. Just never started. Tried installing the latest patch from the Internet twice, but there was a corrupted file error both times.

Quake2 + Win2k + Geforce = Game Crash ?

I have the 3. 81 Nvidia drivers and while UT and Q3 run very smooth and stable, Quake 2 will crash and exit to the desktop after about 10 or so mins of play. I still play Q2 mods extensively so this is a real bummer.

Ok, so DX7. 0a does not exist for WIN2K. I am still stuck with a stick (Thrustmaster top gun, game ported) that only partially works buttons that cancel each other out and a pov that the system will no recognize.

No problems installing, no problems with interface and no problems with sound or music. Soon as I start the game, I get a black screen and a busy cursor icon, I hear two guys talking and thats as far as I get.

We are running Windows 2000 Professional on an Athlon 600, K7M MB, 128 rage fury card. We installed NHL 2000 along with service pack #2. . . it won't run and when it does (rare) it hangs on start up or freezes before the game finishes loading.

I have a burnt version of driver, all the cracks I have used dont work, they bring up an error that says The ordinal 828 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32. DLL i donno what that means, but i think it's win2k's fault.

Thought some of you FF8'ers might like to know about the patch, just released. . . which apparently fixes the Graphics corruption issues as well as other things. Not tried it yet myself, but will do as soon as I sort my PC out Exorcist.

Games detecting incorrect HD space under NT

Recently my company gave us new laptops and they have NT 4 (sp4). I have checked the compatibility list and installed LS98, Alpha Centuri and HOMM3. I installed HOMM3 first and it worked fine. Installed the other 2 and then when i went back to play HOMM3 it said i did not have enough disk space to play.

Lower Framerates in W2K

I played soldiers of fortune, descent3 with much lower framerates. You can perfectly see differents in a heavy action scene. . . win98 everything is running smoothly but not on w2k. . . Got a voodoo3 2000 card, using retail drivers from 3dfx.
