Voodoo 2 Screws Up In Win2k..

I have a Magic Voodoo II, 8 MB Card. It seem´s to be that it supports Glide/OpenGL but not Direct3D. . . i have the latest Beta drivers from 3dfx. com. Could it be my Xpert 98 card who bugs up ? i think its the wrong drivers too my Xpert 98 card too.

Greetings fellows! I have a big f*cking problem with Win2k. I can´t play the retail version of Unreal Tournament, does i need any kinda patch? When i starting the game its just a blank black screen. .

Q3, Win2k, new beta-driver v1.01.03 !!

Well I just pulled these down from 3dfx site and installed them and everything seemed fine, except Quake 3 wount start any longer. This is what Q3 tells me: Initializing OpenGL subsystem. . . initializing QGL.

Unreal Tournament in WIn2k Error

I Have a P3 at 600 and 256mb ram and a Voodoo 3 3000 in win2000. Whenever i run unreal tournament i get an error message that says The dynamic link library glide2x. dll could not be found in the specified path.

Liveware 3 broke Tribes/Win2k

Tribes was working perfectly on Win2k and Liveware2. But after LW3, tribes freezes when I run it. Someone told me I needed to uninstall LW2 completely before installing LW3. Anyone have this experience?.

When Win2K first came out, I went to nVidia's website to download the 3. 78 drivers. They work fine and are fast in every game I play. When I saw the Detonator 2 (5. 22) drivers were out, I downloaded them and tried them out.

Any suggestions, installs fine but I get an error on load. I've tried it on mt Matrox G400 and on an SGI 230 (Gforce DDR), same. The error is MakeCriticalSectionGlobal could not be located in the DLL Kernal32.

Half-Life freezes during game ?

I've got my Half-Life working, but after like 5-15 min of play it freezes. Have got all the latest drivers for my hardware except my soundcard(their homepage is down). Anybody know what's wrong? Think it is my voodoo2, anybody here with a voodoo2 that can play half-life with Counter-Strike online ? Specs: PII 450 1 ...

Run APCOMPAT. EXE you can get this file from the Win2k pro final release CD. Once you put that APCOMPAT. exe on your hdd run it select Win98 or Win95. under prgram to run select Autorun from your NFS HS CD.

Quake 3 in win2000 w/picture

I have Windows2000 on a Athlon 650MHz with 160 megs of ram and a TNT 2 Ultra 32mb video card. When I load up quake it works for like 2 minutes then it begins to flake out. All the edges in the 3d and the text becomse distorted and lines become visible where all the edges should be.

My Starship Soldiers runs under Win2k and a Geforce 256. If I try Training, then the game locks up during loading. Also if I try Missions, the game put me back to win2k. Any ideas ?.

I recently aquired this game, and on attempt at running it it seems fine for all but one thing. . the sound Instead of any reasoned sfx, all i get is a dead sounding 'bleep' type thing, for instance on selecting a menu item or firing a gun.

Well, to start off with, kickass game However, im having some problems in win2k with it which is a bit disturbing considering its supposed to be compatible with it. After playing the game for however long, I exit the game.

When on lan or net. . If I or anyone else on win2k sets up a quake 2 game it's ok until someone disconnects. . the sever just shuts down and goes to console. I do have internet shareing on. Also there are times when ppl setup severs and i try to connect they just lockup.

Any kind of HL multiplayer game I try to play (tfc, regular and CS), I have to first get into a server, then my comp messes up, and then when I go back to the same server (or another one) it works just fine.
