Win2k (2031 beta 3), V3 and Q3 issues

I need some help: I recently got Win2k(build 2031, beta 3, CPP) from Microsoft. I tried to run quake3 on my system using the drivers from this site, but I have had no success. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I have been trying to get EQ to work for a while now and I think I'm stuck. I have a Voodoo3 3000. When I had RC1 I used the drivers from this page to get EQ to start, successfully ran the tutorial, but when I try to run the game, I could only get to the point of selecting a server, then EQ would crash me back into ...

Have build number 2031 and I cannot get my Sidewinder 3d Pro to operate correctly in HALF LIFE. I seem to need a Joystick. cfg file, where do I get this or how do I make one. Thanks.

I noticed the new demo is running really slow for me in NT. I have the following setup: Wkst4. 0, dual celron 550's, 22 gig gxp, 128meg, TNT2 Ultra (Viper 770), Sp5, Nvidia 2. 08 drivers, and SBlive Value.

i can't get this game to even crash. . . i double click the icon and after 2 seconds of hard drive activity. . . windows 2k looks at me expectantly like nothing was sposed ta happen.

I can get unreal to run just fine under glide but i cant get Nascar Racing 3 and Grand Prix Legends to use glide? i have to run N3 under direct 3d im using the drivers that camelieon sent me My mind is on meltdown mode (( every game i run uses the latest patch

Steering Wheels under NT4?

I'm currently running Racing Simulation 2 under NT4. It works fine, but to use a joystick is a little bit anoying. Does anyone know if, and how, it's possible to use a steering wheel? (Does not matter which one) I tried Saitek R4 already, but it was impossible to calibrate it.

What versions of directX are working on NT4. 0? Is there a controlpanel for directX delivered separately from the it? Does Accelerators with AGP port work on NT4. 0 without any necessary changes in HAL.

Just brought Blade Runner, said on box it'd work under NT4. Sorted me thought, but no. Had DX5 patch, Blade Runner obviously didn't like it. Kept crashing everytime I ran the executable. tried putting original.

Can we get a sampling of what cards actually work with EQ? This has been my experience so far. Permedia 2 - Flat shaded polys only, no textures Matrox G200 - All polys are black, can't see anything.

NT and Q3 SMP fps?!

I got NT workstation 4. 0 running on my dual celeron system last night. I ran some timedemos in quake3 and was very disappointed. With r_smp 1 I get 2-5 fps LOWER than with r_smp 0 in any resolution, any graphics settings.

I've installed the glide fixes under Win2k build 2128. The installation went fine, followed the instructions, but when I try to enter a game (Unreal Tournament and Q3TEST 1. 08) and it tries to switch full screen, I get that error message.

The autorun on the CD crashed instantly. Opening up the cd and run Setup manually in its own memory space completed the install. Running the game results in a log file being created with the following error: GAME: Could not read options Someone got Rainbow Six to run by copying registry settings from 95/98.

I saw posted on the site the other day that Hidden & Dangerous runs under Windows2000. Whenever _I_ try to load the game, however, it comes up with an error message: The ordinal 862 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.
