HP Printer problems

I have a HP printer and every time I print somthing off the web while i'm on line I loose my connection to the web. I'm running NT 4. 0 SP 6A with 256 of ram. This never happend to me on win 95,98. I have the latest drivers for my printer.

new smp mobo?

hi,apparently there is a new dual mobo which accepts coppermines natively,and has on board ata100,and onboard scuzzy as welland some other cool stuff too,its gonna be produced by msi?,does anyone know where there is more info on this mobo? website etc? thx braxanna

Voodoo2 & Win2k

Hey all - I just formatted and installed Win2k, but whenever I try to install my Voodoo 2 drivers (whether from 3DFX or the Win2K default drivers) it keeps saying 'An error occures - The specified file could not be found' Could someone help me figure this out - I just need to get these drivers installed! Thnx.

BP6, Fasttrack 66 and Geforce problem

I am unable to get the above combo to work with any bios except QQ beta 01 but still it is not stable. the problem is , geforce driver refuses to load upon boot up, it hang. anyone with above combo that can get them to work under w2k/win98 please tell me which bios, driver etc to us, TIA.

I've just seen - on the front page of this site - a news item about a new BIOS for the Matrox G400, but the link gets me to the BIOS dated August 1999. What a bag of wank. Is it too much to ask that the links to new material actually link to new material.

Windows 2k - ATI all in wonder pro

I am having trouble getting the ATI All In Wonder Pro video card to work in 2k. . the drivers work fine. . i just cant watch TV?!?! BOOO. . we all know how disapointing this can be!!.

Vortex2 SQ2500

W2K recognized and installed drivers for my Vortex2 with no problem. However, I can't get surround sound now. I have tried both the standard MS drivers and the W2K beta drivers from AUREAL. Both have the same result - no surround sound.

A stable MoBo?

Does anyone have any good recomendations on a good running motherboard with Windows 2K? Im currently running a DFI PA61 with a Pentium III 600, Annilater Pro, Live Plat. ,and a DXR3 DVD decoder. The Via drivers seem to give me greif and dont run as stable as the Intel 440 chipset that I use to have.

Win2k and wireless home network

I would like to know if anyone has any success geting a wireless home network up , and using Win2k with it. For example, waveland, diamond and Intel all have wireless solutions but do any support 2k? Please post your experiences here.

Hi! Anyone got the above to work in Win2k yet? I'm using a Playstation to PC joypad convertor and everytime I attempt to install this in Win2000, it always fails at the last moment ( I think drivers not compatible or something like that ).
