I was wondering. . . When I boot up to win2k 2195, my fan that cools my processor and powerbox suddenly stops. It will occasionally start back up ever so often for about 1-2 minutes and then goes back off again.

2 Questions: ACPI and AGP

Just 2 quick questions. I installed 2195. 1, but it doesn't seem to have used my ACPI bios, instead falling back on my PnP bios. Is there anythign I had to do during setup to enable it? (Under 98 you have to use a command line switch) ACPI works fine for me under 98SE on my BH6.

TNT drivers

How can i get those Direct3d controls, Opengl controls, gamma etc. I really would like to tweak those as I could under win98. There isn't any Nvidia corporation in registry. . . I have 3. 65 drivers.

TNT2 probs in Win2k, please help!

Hello, I got my TNT2 working under Win2k build 2183 with the 3. 64 Detonator drivers for win2k. Now I have 2 problems. Number one is that my computer randomly freezes up or restarts. This is really irratating as i am surfing the web the computer either freezes or restarts.

I havent used 9x since 1996, so I have nothing to compare it with. But Iv read a couple of reviews and articles saying that win98 is yielding about 10-15 percent higher framerates compared to win2k. They had a number of games benchmarks to prove it as well on equivalent systems.

OK, i have been searching for this answer now for a long time. I have a tnt2U and its clocked at 150 and i need to know how to set it higher without using powerstrip. Powerstrip gives me blue screens.

I have installed the beta Hollywood+ Win2k drivers like recommended on NTGamePalace and the installations appears to have worked. But now the problem is that when I try to install the software that comes with it, I get a an error saying that the setup util cannot find the board.

I am borrowing tomb raider 4 from a friend and i am using old aopen 210 drivers that work great with win2k(opengl and direct draw) now i need d3d also is there a set of drivers that does all 3 good?

im runnning Win2k RC2 until i can get 2195. 3, with dual PII 300's Sblive value, UW SCSI, v770 Ultra. . . Kind of curious about live ware. is there a work around to make live ware 2. 1 work in win2k and SMP enabled, id love to use live!ware, but i need to be able to use smp.

Windows 2000 is going to be available to buy on Feb 17, but when are we going to see companies start to produce working win2k drivers for popular hardware, (like sblive!, TNT2, bt848 based tv tuners).

TNT2 and RTM!?

I just installed RTM and I have a TNT2 Ultra. I know the defualt drivers dont have OGL support so I installed the 3. 65 Denator ones. Well they didnt work so I installed 3. 64 and 3. 56. . Thoose didnt work also in OGL can anyone here help me.

Hi, I have an onstream IDE 30GB Tapestreamer. Unfourtunatly it isn't detected in win2k rc3. Onstreams' website don't supply drivers yet. Maybe someone figured out to make it work? Please let me know bink@bink.

Hi guys, I was looking at my bios setting and found this: MPS revision 1. 1 or 1. 4 and MPS revision ISA type or generic can anyone help me in what this means? In the manual it says, select 1. 1 and 1.
