I have an HP Pavilion 8380 , I have tried all the posted fixes for SBLive with no luck at all. Anyone have any sure fixes ? Also , in Win98 when I clicked on shutdown, my comp would completely shut off by itself.

OK, this is the setup. . . 98se networked to 2000 2195. 3 internet connection sharing is enabled and all working like a charm; sort of. the only problem is IRC. The 98 machine can receive DCC sends but cannot send.

Does anyone know how to get MITSUMI's 4802TU Portable External CD-RW Drive (USB) to work under Windows 2000. It works as a regular CD-ROM drive, but isn't recognized as a burner. Thus no burning software under Win2k recognizes it as such either.

Soundblaster Live 3.?? what to get for win2k?

Anyone got something to say about Live3 for Soundblaster Live? if you check will you not get any brighter. . atleast i didnt. . Yes, the drivers that came with are working but they are not good enough, like they dont support 4speakers, 34wave-devices at simutaiusly etc.

First my hardware. ABIT BP6 Celeron 366 x 2 IBM 5400 rpm 15. 2g UDMA66 x2 ASUS 40x IDE CDrom SBLive Value Linksys II NIC Not overclocked. Problem is with the Promise Fasttrak66. It is that I can install Win98 SE, WinNT 4.

Win2000. (Voodoo2) Er soll zwar am 17. 02. 2000 zum Downloaden bereit stehen aber ich kann mir vorstellen das es ihn schon auf irgend einer Seite gibt. Den der Treiber soll auch D3D unterstützen. Also auf Deutsch gesagt alles.

Ok, I got my CL TNT working using the drivers from here: They work great in Quake 2, but in Quake 3 it's *super* *extra* dark! Brighness slider does nothing either. Oh, but it's fine when I run it in a window - great.

Tried playing Tombraider the Last Revelation but gave me an error when trying to play it. . . are there some better drivers that can be used for my video card or is there something else that I have to do to get this game to work.

I have seen my scanner Optic Pro 4800 P on the compatibility list using the NT drivers, but I can not install it. It says wrong NT version. . . . Can nayone help? It works fine in 98 and I do not have NT 4 installed.

Does anyone have any idea how to get this model of scanner to work with windows 2000 final? It flags it as not having drivers installed wheneve ri hit update and it findds the inf file then it still has the yellow !.

Saw that this modem finally works under RC3. Only thing is, I have RC2 and really want to get this modem working. Checked Diamond and Compaq, neither drivers there work. Is it possible to rip just the modem.
