Network problems?

I am running Win2000 2195 on my computer. My wife has Win98 SE on her computer. When she shares out a folder on her system I can see it, and with the correct password, I can open it and stuff like that.

HELP ME!!!!!!! I have a SMC EtherCard PLUS Elite 16 combo network card and windows 2000 don't have that card in the list!!! When I try to install it with drivers I download from smc homepage it complane on some error in inf file or something like that?? And it can't find my configuration to my card I should have it ...

I've installed W2K about ten times now, everytime I install it I do so because there is a new fix or new drivers that will allow me to play games better. But I have come full circle. Windows 2000 will never be a gamers os.

Creative Labs TNT2 ULTRA TV OUT?

A LOT of talk about TV out. Is there any way to get TV Out to work on this card in windows 2000? I have a DVD player, and kind of want to watch the DVD's on the tv screen. . . . Creative Labs TNT2 Ultra is the video card 3.

G400 vs TNT2

Ok guyz, I've got right now an ASUS V3800 TNT2 (non ultra) and I find it a little slow under Win2k (frame rate under UT lower than under Win98). I wanna buy a G400Max or a GeForceDDR (or TNT2Ultra). I know (cos I own one) that NVidia drivers aren't so great right now.

Abit BH6 Motherboard rev. 1.1

I have Abit's BH6 motherboard rev. 1. 1 and i'm running w2k 2195 and i know this mother board is a atx form but in power managment i don't get the option of hibernate or standby but in win98 i got the option of standby.

Anyone here find drivers or get the software working for this mouse? I put the cd in that came with the mouse. . . . and it says this software may not be compatible iwth windows 2000. . . . .

Hey! I need help! My Elsa Quickstep 1000 ISA is not working under Windows 2000 Pro. I tried the Win95/98 driver and the WinNT driver, but nothing works. Solution? El Geco.

Small networking boggle.....

OK, this is the setup. . . 98se networked to 2000 2195. 3 internet connection sharing is enabled and all working like a charm; sort of. the only problem is IRC. The 98 machine can receive DCC sends but cannot send.

Geforce 256 & OpenGL in W2K

Problem with OpenGL and D3D. . . I have tried almost every reference-driver for Nvidia without any luck :-( Currently running with Nvidia 3. 64 on W2K RC3. Dual PII with Geforce 256 on Asus P2B-DS Any suggestions? Lasse.

Sound problems !

When I play a sound (music, games, movies) it sounds really really bad there's this hiss and crackle (u know what I mean), ie in the UT intro you can barely hear what the woman is saying. I have a SBLive value card, if that is any help.

Removing Win2k from one's system

Alright, here's my problem. I have a triple-boot system (Win98, WinNT4, and Win2k build 2194) and I want to remove Win2k from my system. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, I'd just format the drive and carry on my merry way.

Multi Monitoring question using TNT1 pci and AGP-TNT2U

Hey fellas Im still on vacation (not like anyone cares just thought Id throw some information out there ), I got the followwing setup at home but its giving me problems. My 19 inch is on the TNT2U and the 17 incher is on a TNT1 PCI, but I cant run any opengl games without disabling the 17 inch monitor.
