3.69 drivers, Quake3 performance?

Hi, From my past experience (using 3. 65 Win2000 drivers), Quake3 and other apps performance was very slow. I was using GeForce DDR and Win2000 build 2195. My Quake3 High Quality 1024x768x32 score was only 43FPS, compared with 65FPS under Windows98 (same settings).

I found an entry for the g400 in the hardware list and it says the g400 does dual head and Dvd without problems with the 2k drivers from Matrox BUT do the drivers also enable directx for games and/or opengl? Last time i heard (couple of months ago) the beta drivers from matrox do not support directx or opengl so ba ...

Vortex2 Probs with RC3?

I'm running Windows2000 Pro RC3 with a Vortex2 soundcard(diamond MX300), and I've been having problems with lockups recently. The lockups only occur when sound is playing(i. e. winamp, mediaplayer, games, etc.

TNT problems (still..)

Uhhrg. . I've posted about this before, but I still haven't really found a solution. . Everything with my TNT works, except in Quake 3 it's *really* dark. I got it a bit brighter by fooling with the brightness slider (it just sort of 'clicks in' at some point), but it's still unplayably dark.

I have TNT2 ultra running win2k pro 2195. all is fine except that there is no tabs on driver 3. 66 for overclocking or anything at all for that matter. .

How can i make the user that want to log on to choose in a drop down menu the user he want to log on. I mean, under Mac OS 9, there a menu with all registered users and you just click on the one you wanna log onto and if you need a pwd, it just asks.

I spent about 6 F**KING hours last night trying to get the SB Live to work in Windows 2000. What a joke. I had it down perfectly. All the controls worked. But of course no god damn sound. I noticed the device still said 'do not map to this device' so I unchecked that.

Has anyone gotten this card to work completely? I have installed the Aureal ref drivers but when i do that I do not get my rear speaker channel or my SP/DIF out either. Has anyone found drivers that work with this card?.
