Chasing an Win2K SMP problem!

I need you guys to help me chase an SMP bug in my Windows 2000 box (dual 366 Celerys @ 550, 256Mb, CL GeForce SDR, Epox KP6-BS/Abit BP6 with MSI slot converters). I am currently using Windows 2000 nvidia drivers ver 3.

IRQ's in win2000 above 15

Device manager in Win2000 giving me some wild irq's. . . . . like 128, 40, 36. My system is epox kp6 bx mb with a pentium 3 450. . . . Everything seems to be working. . . . . kinda strange. .

Hi, Has anyone gotten the nomad to work under win2k??? I connect the docking station up and everything but it says it's not connected when i try to run the manager. . . . Any suggestions??? Thanks! -Drak0.

I have my good old Syquest EZ135 removable cartridge drive sitting there wondering how to connect itslef to W2K. Since it is still among the best, interms of drive performance for removable medias, it is a pity for not having further upgrade possibility from Syquest.

I am sure a few of you guys are wondering the same thing. When you purchase your new new toy for your PC. I suggest you to think hard about what brand you choose. I though I did when i bought my TV card (STB TV PCI-non FM).

Does anyone know where I can get a good set of drivers that will work in win 2k for the Ceative voodoo 2? I tried the hacked drivers that were posted on this site, but could never get them to work right (system hangs, lockups).

itthere a way to make windows 2000 see a second CPU w/ out reinstalling? I know under NT4 there was a utillity called uni to multi that would do it for you that came w/ the resource kit. .

You guys that have gotten your Cd burners and Rewritables working under Win2k, What software did you use and did you have to do anything to get it to work. I tied my CDR with Adaptec EZ CD 3. 5b, and 4.

Upgrading to SMP Win2000

I have a single processor system running NT 4. 0 and Win2000. I am planning on upgrading this computer to an SMP environment. Very simple question, will I need to reinstall the OS's just to switch to the SMP kernel? I thought I had remembered reading about something off the NT 4.

I do the following steps: - install win2k server - go to the device manger, and check the unknown scsi device - update driver, and select the right one (asc3550.

Memory Dump Blue Screen Problem!!

I have Win 2000 Ver 5. Build 2195 Every so often i get a blue screen that says there was a memory Dump. In the events viewer the following message is displayed: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.

Hi! I can't get the CD Writer to work with Nero. It only 'finds'the image writer. I use a Tekram DC390 adapter and use the 3. 2 drivers for it (they claim to be Win2k compatible). Does anyone know how to get Nero to find the device?.

Hey, Picked up my copy of Win 2000 from a local computer store. It's the real thing folks. The CD is the best part. If anyone lives in the Atlanta area and would like to know where to pick it up just let me know.
