Was just reading in the news that the Canon PowerShot S10 digital camera works under Win2k, using a USB port, using the canon beta drivers. . . anyone have a link to the beta driver(s)?.

Why win2k is loosing my modem?

I have external 33. 6 modem and i have istalled it as standard 33600 modem. But almost every day win2k looses it. . . in modem options there is only 33600 standard modem and attached to field there is NONE (it should be com2).

Speed with Iomega Parallell zip.

Is there a way to make my zip-drive faster. In windows 98 it took about 5 mins to copy a disk to my harddrive. But now in win2k it takes about 30 mins. Has anyone got ideas?.

Creative DVD 6x Encore dxr3

Has anyone been able to get the decoder card that comes with the Creative DVD 6x Encore dxr3 to work? I downloaded the latest NT drivers, but after I run the. exe and reboot, the same thing happens (new hardware found, no device drivers found for this hardware).

Gamma correction for Quake 3

Am I just blind, or is there no gamma correction under Q3 and W2K. This really sucks because the game is so dark you can't even play. I have a Geforce card. Is there a fix or what?.

Why is it when I try to access a W2K machine from a 98 machine I'm asked for a password, well if I input the admin password of the W2K machine it tells me wrong password. Voodoo 2 drivers? (help?)

Are there any voodoo 2 drivers that do like to work with an smp-configuration (dual 466@525) with quake 3 with /r_smp set to 1 ?? If u know, please say so (I prefer yes) Cause all I get (drivers from nt compatible site) is a grey screen and a windows 2000 that hangs.

60Hz opengl under win2k (GeForce)

Hi someone may have talked about this before, but why do I only get 60Hz in opengl? and in Quake3 I can't control the brightness. Its way to dark. Direct3d works like a sharm and use my normal 85Hz in UT.

What does that exactly mean? It's under Device Manager > Mouse properties >Advanced settings Input Buffer Length xxx packets. Meaning what? And ofcourse there is that Sample rate thing isn't that the same thing as in PS2 rate plus ?.

hello i once tried to update to win2k and all hardware but my network adapter (SMC EliteCard 16 Plus type 8013) was recognized. . and that one is very important offcourz! does anyone know there are some 3rd party drivers for this adapter.

I cant get Revenant to play on win2k pro. Ive seen on the web site to remove limit speed in options, but its not there. my system: Abit bp6 cel. 366@533 sb live G400 DualHead 32mb I get this error: SAFEDISK : REVENANT.

I just got this card, and I am running Win2K (Otherwise I guess I wouldn't be posting here huh? ) After downloading and using the downloadable drivers for use with Win2K; I am still unable to use the card correctly for use with dual display.
