Dont get me wrong I am not complaining. . . this is not meant to be a flame. I for one was not complaining when the drivers werent out yet. I was telling everyone to be happy with the betas and hacked ones until 3dfx released the official ones which would be sometime around the 17th.

Riva 128ZX - Direct3D hardware support

Has anyone gotten D3D hardware support with a riva 128ZX running with Win2000? I tried the drivers on the CD, and the NT 4. 0 drivers from the nVidia site, but to no avail. Any help?.

Page File with 256 meg ram?

What should the page file be set at with 256 megs of ram? What about the Virtual memory? Just curious, I upgraded from 128 to 256 today. . . . thanks BoDEAN.

Acer Prisa 610p scanner

when ever i try using the Acer Prisa 610p scaner I get a error saying scaner not found or twain error. I downloaded the drivers but they do nothing any advice?.

Challenge for you techies

I have a Lexmark 3200. There are no current drivers for it for win2k. Apparently, I can use HP DJ500c drivers or PCL 3 emulation type drivers. However, the drivers for the HP that come with win2k don't help.

poor lan performance

Has anyone else experienced really bad performance between Win2k and Win98? I have a Umax 110TX which Windows detects as Winbond W89C840-based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter. . . I assume it's a driver issue because I didn't notice anything when using 98, but updated drivers from Umax didn't help.

Arrrgggghhhhh.... Liveware and MP3 problem

Okay, I installed the Liveware release and the drivers, all works fine. Usually I have Winamp (2. 60) running in the background while I surf the web. Most of the time when a wav sound plays like in Windows or from ICQ, the MP3 starts jumping, then returns to normal.

All i can find for this Modem, which is built onto my i810 chipset (HSP AUDIOMODEM Riser) is NT4 drivers, they will install and work but then my mouse wont work. There is only 1 com port and no PS/2.

How to choke Win2k - BP6 and QQ bios? Please help!

Ok, this may have been just my installation being corrupted, but here's the problem I ran into. I was running packaged BIOS for Abit BP6 and Win2k just fine - no snags, except on shutdown I'd have to hold in the power button since ACPI wasn't enabled.

Live!ware 3 and Dell Win2k Drivers

For all you people using the live!ware from dell which is like 2. 2 or something I have gotten live!ware 3 to work. Only problem I have had so far is that surround mixer won't work with the dell drivers.

Hey guys, I saw under the hardware section that the AverMedia TV98 is supposed to work in win2k, but i've been unsuccessful thus far. I've gotten it to load the video part of the capture driver fine, but I can't get the audio part installed.

Performance with nVidia's new Win2000 drivers?

nVidia just released optimized W2K drivers, Version 3. 78 on their website. However, as we all know, nVidia's beta Win2000 drivers were way slower than Win98. If you installed the new drivers, how was your performance? (In Direct3D and in OpenGL/Quake3)? thanks! I can't wait to migrate to W2K, but the slow drivers ...

BP6 + Maxtor 40 gig drive + ata66

I was wondering if anyone has gotten this combo to work? I just got my maxtor 40 gig the other day and put it in. . . and installed win2k final. I load it on the ata 66 controler and everything seems to work fine.
